EDH / Commander Essential Cards to Buff your Decks list

A Quick Reference for some of the most powerful and essential cards in EDH.

The idea here is that if each month you pull $50 to improve your commander library then you can come here and see all of the most useful and relevant cards to upgrade your decks as well as a consolidated location of their prices

My expectation for cards on this list is that a player would own a single copy, sleeve it and put it in a binder. Then when making a deck if you want to include one of these cards you just put in a placeholder card as a place holder. While you are playing the deck if you draw the placeholder then you just play it like normal and pass turn. Then while your opponents are playing you can open up your binder and go find the card that is represented by your placeholder.

All Cards listed are looking to be between $20 - $150

• Note I have included shock lands on here that are under $20 but are around $10. In my opinion these lands are staples of the format and would go in every deck that can fit them. As such, just buying one of each and the using placeholders would be extremely budget friendly.

Any and all Recommendations are welcome. Please keep all recommendations between $10 and $150.
