Ever since I saw my first episode ever of Game Knights, I've wanted to do a Shadowborn Apostles deck. I've taken apart a couple decks to do so, but its worth it for my dream deck.

Thrumming Stone is an MVP, search it out when you can, using one of our demons, Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent, or Enlightened Tutor. Ripple into Apostles who Ripple into other Apostles, and you can play your most of your deck. If you have it out, seek out Teysa Karlov instead, to make it even harder for opponents to pay Athreos' toll. As well as the necessary Thrumming Stone, there's the basic Remembrance tech to get even more Apostles... meaning if you have both Teysa Karlov and Thrumming Stone, seek out Reliquary Tower, because your hand can get very full.

The main win cons are: to win through smashing with your big demons (not the best option) or through potentially draining opponents to death with Zulaport Cutthroat or Blood Artist (best option).

The demons of choice- Bloodgift Demon, Vilis, Broker of Blood and Harvester of Souls are for Card Draw. Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Rune-Scarred Demon are for tutoring my win-conditions. Ob Nixilis, Unshackled helps punish other people for tutoring and Reaper from the Abyss is handy for a deck that seeks to sacrifice Apostles every turn when it gets going.

Disruption can be found not only in my demons, but in Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos, helping to limit board presence. And Merciless Eviction is simply one of the best modal wrath effects, but only to be used as a life line, as you can easily lose your Apostles, Demons, or wincons.

Faith's Reward and Immortal Servitude all help bring your Apostles back after a board wipe.

We run some of the more permanent removal spells in Black/White- Anguished Unmaking and Utter End. But in order to squeeze as many Apostles in, we aren't running many removal specials.

I can't argue its very competitive, but its fun to play.

I swap between this deck and my Teysa deck every few months, because of how many pieces they share. One's obviously superior, but one's more janky and fun.
