Reckless Abandon

Sorcery

As an additional cost to cast Reckless Abandon, sacrifice a creature.

Reckless Abandon deals 4 damage to target creature or player.

Harrow would have been god tier if it was red. Green already has much better ramp. They definitely could have done more with sacrifice for red. It already fits into the theme. I love using red cards like Fling and Reckless Abandon.

Satyr Firedancer the opposite of Imodane.

Fiery Impulse, Fiery Temper, Shard Volley or Reckless Abandon are worth considering.

Thunderclap and Fireblast are free.

Looks fun! Ram Through lets you trample damage over and doesn't require a sac. Since double strike applies to combat damage it doesn't it boost fling, so I might drop Temur Battle Rage to make room for it. Reckless Abandon is also a cheaper fling for fixed damage at sorcery speed, can be used to sac creatures which aren't current pump targets, or to get rancor back.

You might consider other ways cheap ways to give trample and pump, Rush of Adrenaline , and Colossal Might . Crash Through , gives card draw too, which is nice.

I absolutely agree! I actually designed a similar build around Horned Kavu some years ago, seen here: RG Pauper. It might hold some inspiration for you!

Looking at your list, it's looking solid but there are a couple choices I don't really think are contributing to your deck's goal. Sylvan Brushstrider and Llanowar Visionary both feeling like they're kind of underperforming in a straight aggro deck like this. Yes, their comes-into-play abilities can be reset by the Kavu... but you only have four Kavu to go around, and do you really want to use one up paying three mana to gain 2 life? You should be more occupied with running your opponent out of life!

You already have plenty of creatures worth resetting, so in their place you might like some more aggressive creatures to help out. Orcish Hellraiser and Goblin Heelcutter are solid mid-sized critters that can help get damage through blockers. Kird Ape is the best one-drop this deck can buy, though you'd want to cut out some of those taplands for more basics. Reckless Abandon is another mana-efficient way to get a chunk of pile damage past enemy blockers, and combos well with Young Wolf! Hopefully some of these ideas help give your deck a little more teeth. Good luck!

Utopia Sprawl is your best friend here. It fixes your mana, ramps you, and makes your Aura Gnarlid bigger.

Wild Growth is also excellent. It doesn't fix your mana, but you can play it on any land, not just a forest.

In order to make room for this ramp, I think taking out Fertile Ground, Karametra's Favor, Baloth Gorger, BTE, Armor of Thorns and a few lands would do the trick.

You should definitely be playing all 4 Ancestral Mask . I would cut Uncontrollable Anger and AEther Webs for it.

Reckless Abandon seems better than Artillerize. It costs way less mana, which seems worth losing a point of damage for.

Rabid Bite seems much worse than Ram Through . It's an instant that also has the upside of "trampling over" its damage if your creature has trample.
