Athreos is full of shenanigans and random combos. Want to recur a creature to force an opponent to play 3 life? Deathrender! Want to pull out most of your graveyard?! Gift of Immortality + Sun Titan ! The possibilities are endless and they are continuing to grow. There's even stuff that combos with Athreos! Anyway, I see Athreos as more of a support for the deck that is hard to get rid of.
