Most Zetalpa decks I see just built voltron, so I wanted to try a different style. The 99 work independently with a go wide strategy, layering anthems and setting up renewable resources. Zetalpa, meanwhile, can compensate for the weaknesses of a go-wide strategy. She can apply commander damage with double strike and anthem boosts, defend against strong tramplers, and add resistance to board wipes.
