Rules Q&A
Intrepid Adversary
Creature — Human Scout
Lifelink
When this enters the battlefield, you may pay any number of times, then put that many valor counters on this.
Creatures you control get +1/+1 for each valor counter on this.
plakjekaas on Why is Squad a Cast …
They did something like it with the Intrepid Adversary cycle, instead of Multikicker, it was an EtB ability. Although none of the adversaries copied themselves.
However, you said it yourself, Squad is the permanents version of Strive. Since instants and sorceries don't enter the battlefield, it sounds logical to not change the equivalent mechanic into something different when you make the permanents version, even when similar examples of other cards with EtB abilities instead of cast options exist. Though every EtB example you can give, can by countered by a spell with multikicker, like Everflowing Chalice, which has a repeated effect on cast already.
But this is the newest entry in a series of mechanics discussion where you advocate for more safeguards against interaction to protect your playstyle from "getting got" by opponents' spells. It's the same reason you object to "only once per turn" limitations. You want the threats to outperform the answers every step of the way, and that's the opposite of game balance.

Zephyrim's tokens would be copied.
As a quick way to tell what does and doesn't work with Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, look for sentences that start with
"When (cardname) enters the battlefield"
"Whenever a (permanent type) enters the battlefield"
"Whenever another (permanent type) enters the battlefield"
The rest of that sentence (and only that sentence) will be what Elesh Norn copies. With Intrepid Adversary, the key sentence is "When Intrepid Adversary enters the battlefield, you may pay any number of times." With Zephyrim, or other creatures with the Squad ability, the key sentence is part of the reminder text: "When this creature enters the battlefield, create that many tokens that are copies of it."

No, you would get the option to pay any number of times twice. The placement of the counters is a secondary triggered ability whose trigger is the payment of the sets. The only "enters the battlefield" ability on Intrepid Adversary is the option to pay extra.

If I have Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines in play and cast Intrepid Adversary would I get two valor counters for each 1W I spent?

Your deck looks pretty solid. I do have a few recommendations for potential swaps that might be of interest:
-
Signal Pest or Accorder Paladin could both be potential swaps with Intrepid Adversary. Paying at least when you cast it for your creatures to only get +1/+1 isn't super ideal. Signal Pest and Accorder Paladin will both stack their Battle Cry triggers, along with the Hero of Bladehold that you already have in your 99.
-
Skyhunter Strike Force could be a potential swap with Adriana, Captain of the Guard, or maybe something else in your 99, since each Melee anthem will stack, and your creatures could potentially get +12/+12 with Strike Force, Adriana, and Isshin on board if you're attacking 3 opponents.
-
Delina, Wild Mage has a pretty high ceiling, since the tokens she creates are not Legendary. She replaced Marton Stromgald in my Isshin deck, as he is a bit more fragile in comparison.
-
I see you have Fervor in your maybe board. I'd recommend adding that and Ogre Battledriver as additional Haste anthems to round out what you already have with Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots. This will help especially for your higher CMC creatures to attack the same turn they drop, instead of waiting a turn rotation and leaving them more vulnerable to removal.
I hope these suggestions were helpful. If you haven't played this deck irl yet, you should be in for a fun time.

Some thoughts:
-
both Chaplain of Alms Flip and Ambitious Farmhand Flip feel really out of place here, i’d ditch them so you can run the 4th Carrion Feeder and Gravecrawler, both cards that are vitally important to this deck functioning.
-
i’d also get rid of Sungold Sentinel, Intrepid Adversary, and Lunarch Veteran Flip as they’re all pretty bad cards and don’t really fit the sacrifice theme. White is pretty poor with sacrifice in general so maybe it’s better to be running red instead - gives you access to Mayhem Devil, Goblin Bombardment, Dreadhorde Butcher, and Lightning Bolt, which are all really helpful for profiting from sacrifice while applying a lot of fast-pressure (I have a competitive BR zombie-sac deck here if you're interested to see that).
-
If you’re planning on doing tournaments then you’ll need a sideboard. If you do end up with one, Duress belongs there instead of the mainboard (it’s useless versus other creature decks).
-
i’m worried that Rotten Reunion only feels just-barely playable if Kaya is out doing her -2.

Or Intrepid Adversary. And the new Farewell could replace another boardwipe.
