This is a wizard tribal deck made to be enhanced by, but not dependent on, its commander. Ertai, the Corrupted is great for repeatable counterspells, and I've included lots of cards that generate tokens to sac and included a few ways to untap him (Thornbite Staff being the best). I've thus prioritized wizards that make tokens in addition to wizards for whom other wizards matter. There are so many of the latter, however, with so many great control abilities, that Ertai is more of an augmentation than an essential foundation.

I could use suggestions for win conditions other than just "go wide." Phyrexian Rebirth is one possibility, especially if Rogue's Passage is out to make your X/X horror unblockable. Nameless One should also be great with this deck. Coat of Arms would do the trick, but I'd want to find some substitutes to offset the increase in price it would require, since I try to shoot for ~$50 or less. Any other ideas?
