I've seen people arguing whether this guy should be unbanned, I can see he would be a mono green staple in the format but as a commander I don't know if he's really scarier than all the other turn three win decks or the decks that lock out the game as early as turn 1 with stuff like Drannith Magistrate but when I tried to find out just how scary he can be I was met with no good example decks and magical christmas hands so I plan to make the very best deck version of him and see just how busted I can make it or how soon he can win!

I'm looking for a consistent turn 3 win, not occasional but something that demands response from my opponents, selvala can do a pretty consistent turn 4 or 5 but I think the only way I believe he can be considered too stong is to achieve this since I'm using her as the standard for a very strong mono green deck. his mana production unlike selvala (big monsters) or marwyn (elves EtB) is forest lands so I'm looking to get as many out as possible turn 1 or 2 but when he is able to tap for mana it should spell doom. his crazy mana production allows us to cast way ahead of the curve of other decks, stopping rofellos only stops him, not our land fetching! Even if he, never makes it to board he is baiting out's counter spells and allowing us more ramp with lands however, we have back ups just in case, Elvish Archdruid and Circle of dreams Druid spring to mind, they are excellent in our elf sub theme and can sub in for when rofellos taxes just aren't worth the trouble. because were looking to end the game quickly and were going for multiplayer kill (Sorry Blightsteel) in a competitive setting we have cards such as Craterhoof Behemoth to pair with Avenger of Zendikar/enough of our elves as really our only win con besides the infinite combos with Temur, E Witness and Beast Within plus infinite mana via Staff of Dom, Umbral Mantle or Sword of the paruns but this last one is quite costly. tutors like tooth and nail can end the game on the spot with haste, Finale of Devastation is an Excellent haste maker for Craterhoof to just sweep all our opponents

It seems pretty dodgy on when we win on turn 3 it seem to do it far quicker than selvala but it gears more towards turn 4 with it's openers, best case senario is a turn 2 ramp the nets at least 2 lands and consistent land drops, 5 lands is very good if we can get drawing into our untapper's/infinite mana engines or our pieces/ tutors when I get mana but I don't have draw or When I have draw pieces but no mana. Whichever way it goes it does still end up winning it just needs multifaceted pieces of which I know none that fetch lands and draw or tutor or at least draw enough to really make a difference. Currently a work in progress, I need to pick and choose and find what will opzimize this guy into a blistering fast monster early game, he's awesome but selvala is more consistent.
