Graveyard Filling (2)

Control Targets (1)

Lurrus may have been a giant pain in many formats, but as a commander I think it has some utility as a weaker, less expensive version of Muldrotha, the Gravetide.

Main components:

– Fill Graveyard using Graveyard Fillers or Sacrifice Outlets.

– Reanimate Targets using Lurrus or Recursion.

– If you're missing Payoff, recur Targets that disrupt opponents until you get them.

Main Combos:

  • Leonin + Dance of the Dead ===> Infinite ETB/Deaths, can be stopped if needed.

  • Pet/Ballista + Enduring Renewal ===> Infinite ETB/Deaths, can be stopped if needed.

  • Sun Titan + Ghostform ===> Infinite ETB/Deaths, but needs sac outlet (preferably Dementia)

  • Lurrus + Ghostform ===> Infinite ETB/Deaths, but needs P-Altar or Plunderer.

Other Notes:

– Lurrus is useful, but doesn't participate in the main combos. Instead, it's used as a recursion engine to control the board or get combo pieces from your graveyard.

– Altar of Dementia is both a Payoff and a Graveyard Filler.
