a Mizzix of the Izmagnus storm deck. This commander is bonkers, even on a budget he's very powerful and your opponents know this, or at least they should, so they will try to remove or counter him when ever they can, so you need to protect him. this is why Swiftfoot Boots , Lightning Greaves and Darksteel Plate are in here, I have the 2 first ones for redundancy as well as Darksteel Plate too so he's safe from wrath effects, but for that there are counterspells. If your commander gets to stay on the board you can storm off on turn 4-5 with this.
Budget build (150-160 $): the majority of the money value in this deck is tied to the mana base. If expensive dual lands aren't your cup of tea, simply remove those you don't want and add basics at a 3 to 1 ratio mountains to islands. if you remove 4 duals, add 3 mountains and 1 island and you should be good. I added the dual lands because I own them already, you don't really need them, they don't make the deck that much better, I think the competitive meter moved 1% from 91 to 92% after adding 7 dual lands, so consider cutting them if you can't afford them. Scalding Tarn for example is very expensive. Wincons: Lightning Bolt + Reiterate combo. you do the reinterate combo with rituals to get infinite mana and with infinite mana we can copy lighning bolt endless amount of times to kill everyone. we can also cast Swan Song a million times and kill them all with swans.
