Burn, baby, burn!

This is a deck that goes full red. Nothing will be sitting in our hand for long, and opponents keep a careful eye on their life total if they know what's good for them! You also have to watch your own though.

I'll point out right from the start that if it isn't clear, Ashling can use her ability twice on each person's turn to tick up without blowing.

There are the cards like Blackblade Reforged and Akroma's Memorial that let Ashling servive her own bursts. This means if we have nothing better to do we can pump 6-10 mana into her every round to just keep clearing away everybody else's creatures and lowering life totals while we're at it. Not too shabby for the "I didn't draw any gas" scenario.

Lifelink! If Ashling has lifelink, and you just put the minimum 3 counters into her, it's already enough for your lifetotal to shoot up a silly amount. If you have 3 opponents and they all have two creatures on average, you gain a net 30 life. 30! If there's maybe 8 enemy creatures on the board and you put 6 counters on her before she blows, that's 72 life! (Unless she has protection from red the damage she deals to herself counts).
