They HAVE to kill Animar. If Animar stays in play it's hard to lose with this deck. Getting just 1-2 counters on Animar with any card draw (Elemental Bond, Fathom Mage, Garruk's Packleader, etc.) basically let's you play out your entire deck.

This deck is one of my more competitive decks and really only gets pulled out if I'm really want to win. While it could be even more competitive I've chosen to stick to a heavy Eldrazi theme for the sake of being able to dump a bunch of big, fat colorless dudes to swing with.

On a scale of how competitive it is, I'd give Animar - Eldrazi a 8 out of 10.
