Sorcery (1)

Testing the treasure tribal to finish the artifact-centered decks.

I've previously made the clue deck: I don't have a clue

Then I made the food deck: Gyome's Deli

Now this is the treasure deck. I wanted to keep this deck at 2 colors and have a commander that produces treasures, to follow the thematic of the clue and food decks.

My options were:

Galazeth Prismari is a spell-slinger deck that makes tokens when casting spells and I already have Rodan, Titan of Winged Fury that is a spell-slinger deck.

Kalain, Reclusive Painter seemed pretty cool, but it ended up being too focused on +1/+1 counters and creatures that were advantaged on having higher power and toughness.

Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator was the only partner that could directly produce treasure tokens. Being a partner was great because it permitted access to green with another partner in order to use cards like Old Gnawbone and token doubling effects like Doubling Season . But I did not want to make a pirate deck.

Prosper, Tome-Bound has all the good red treasure cards with the few black treasure cards and actually feels like a treasure making deck first, while casting cards from exile feel like the means to an end.
