Dream Devourer

Creature — Demon Cleric

Each nonland card in your hand without foretell has foretell. Its foretell cost is equal to its mana cost reduced by . (During your turn, you may pay and exile it from your hand face down. Cast it on a later turn for its foretell cost.)

Whenever you foretell a card, Dream Devourer gets +2/+0 until end of turn.

Heya, I see that your deck is mostly lacking in card draw/ card acceleration. You have about 3 while most decks need 10+. Remove Costly Plunder for Night's Whisper so you don't have to sacrifice your demons. Remove Feaster of Fools, Spirit of the Night, Bladebrand, Grasp of Darkness, and You Are Already Dead (I know the meme), and add Dream Devourer, Bloodgift Demon, Herald of Slaanesh, Phyrexian Arena, Blasphemous Act, and Rakdos Charm.

I hope this helps your deck building. Other upgrades would mean removing Ecologist's Terrarium, Lightning Bolt, Grasp of Darkness, Warp Artifact, Insult / Injury, Price of Betrayal, Skulltap, Witch's Vengeance, Blight, and Inevitable End which are okay, but could be improved. Pick more cards that draw cards without condition or ramp on two mana, Wish you the best!

First things first, the deck name is gold.

Next I have some cards you might want to consider:

Treasonous Ogre helps you not to die within the Hidetsugu combo kill you have in here. Also, it's great ramp.

Neheb, the Eternal helps you in actually casting the spells you exiled in a big turn.

When considering cuts, be sure to take a close look at Apex of Power. I have it in Cecily, Haunted Mage, as she allows me to cast it from hand for free. As aqesome as it seems in impulse decks such as Florian or Prosper, it's actually kind of terrible in those. You want to cast it from your hand. It's really bad when you cast it from exile, because that means you don't get the extra mana.

What's more, Dream Devourer would be pretty powerful with Prosper, Nalfeshnee and similar cards.

Blade of the Oni, Dream Devourer, Gibbering Fiend, Rakdos Firewheeler, Rakdos Headliner, Spear Spewer, Thermo-Alchemist, Witty Roastmaster, and Kardur's Vicious Return are not very good imo.

Scourge of the Skyclaves is just an expensive combo with Wound Reflection. Havoc Festival is slightly cheaper and better in most situations, especially in chaos.

Syphon Mind is better than Blightning. Banefire is better than Demonfire. Malakir Rebirth  Flip is better than Demonic Gifts. Curtains' Call is better than Murder. Baleful Mastery is better than Doom Blade.

Hey, I like your Teysa deck. I have a few suggestions for you to consider though, and hopefully they'll help.

First of all, Teysa decks love creatures. (Obviously, since that's basically what she cares about.) Because of that, I'd recommend running a few other creatures within the deck that could help you with her double-triggers. I'd recommend Pitiless Plunderer, Doomed Traveler, and Junji, the Midnight Sky as possible includes that trigger on creature's deaths. Viscera Seer is another helpful creature for sacrificing stuff, too.

Secondly, I want to start by saying that I love the idea to use Liliana's Contract in the deck. I've wanted to brew a Commander deck with it as a win-con for a while, but never did so. However, I feel like you aren't supporting it enough. You only have four demons in your deck, and an opponent exiling one of them makes the contract unusable. So, here's a few that you could add that would also work well with Teysa: Harvester of Souls can draw you an obscene amount of cards, because it looks at ALL non-token creatures, not just your own. Rune-Scarred Demon could help you with additional tutoring, especially if he dies and you bring him back. Dream Devourer can help you cast your spells later for cheaper, and isn't a lot of mana to cast, himself. Demon of Dark Schemes is a cool card that works with energy, but works without other energy support. It helps you reanimate creatures, and does a small boardwipe on entry.

I hope some of my suggestions help! My only other piece of advice is that if you're going to add more creatures, I'd remove a couple sorceries, maybe.

EJ!! Let's do this! This build is already tight, but here are my thoughts\suggestions...

Cards I'd consider cutting: Seize the Spoils, Reckless Endeavor, Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast, Poison the Cup, Vengeful Reaper, Dream Devourer, Replicating Ring, Ward of Bones, Darksteel Forge, the flip tibalt guy, Ash Barrens, Cryptic Caves, Darksteel Citadel, Foreboding Ruins, Mortuary Mire, Zhalfirin Void

Cards I'd consider adding: Light Up the Stage, Chaos Wand, You Find Some Prisoners, Reckless Fireweaver, Valakut Exploration, Rakdos Charm, Murderous Rider, Praetor's Grasp, Rakdos Signet, Bojuka Bog, Luxury Suite, Blood Crypt, Haunted Ridge, Smoldering Marsh, Dragonskull Summit, Bloodstained Mire, Temple of Malice

I would also suggest swapping Red Elemental Blast for Pyroclasm... seems silly, but pyroclasm can be cast even if there are no blue targets. So may not be relevant, but could be randomly at some point.

Have some time to reflect on how the tournament went, and what to do with the deck moving forward.

1st Round: UW Spirits (literally the precon) Got kinda embarrassed in this match; I drew poorly, and my opponent drew quite well, but I must admit the deck also wasn't fully ready for the matchup. My reasonable board of ground creatures couldn't do much against the flyers game 1, even gaining life on the attack with two Gifted Aetherborn and chunking in for 2-4 a turn with a Dream Devourer. I never drew any removal, but I also don't think I was really playing enough to respect the matchup. Warping Wail was reasonable, killing a lord with another on the stack, but not fantastic. There are 0 sorceries to get here, and the token could never chump anyways. Game 2, I used Cry of the Carnarium for a one-sided board wipe to kill 3 of his 4 creatures (the last was a Supreme Phantom. Then he ripped a Watcher of the Spheres and an Empyrean Eagle in the next two turns and I died anyways. Bad beats, such is life. 0-2

Round 2: Lotus Field Combo This one was somewhat a reversal of the last match. Deck had a ton of things to get with Warping Wail and Thought-Knot Seer and he had trouble racing some aggressive dudes. Game 2, I brought in some Thoughtseizes and Go Blanks and it was kind of a rout. It really is crazy how good Warping Wail is here, dealing with their Wish effects pretty well (and Sweltering Suns and its ilk postboard). I'd board in 4 more if I could, ha ha ha. 2-0

Super small this week, they were running two formats simultaneously alongside quite a few other games, so it was just the 2 rounds. Starting relatively soon they're going to shuffle the times/dates around a bit, so I should have more competitive tournaments to build off of. Deck is fun when it works and you're at least doing things even when it doesn't, I'm satisfied and will keep tuning.
