What more fun than casting spells? Getting a second one for FREE. Wort, the Raidmother isn’t the typical gruul commander so building around him is really fun. We need a bunch of tokens to allow us to always be able to conspire our spells.

The tokens: Dragon Fodder, Hordeling Outburst, and other spells allow us to make sure that happens. Other utility spells like Artifact Mutation also give us useful tokens as well as allowing us to be able to remove a problem artifact. Most of the tokens in this deck are goblins so Krenko, Mob Boss makes a huge impact if you get the chance to tap him.

Ramp: The general does cost 6 mana so this deck needs quite a bit of ramp to be able to cast him quickly and recast him if he dies since the deck needs Wort on the field. Much of the ramp comes in the form of spells like Rampant Growth and Farseek. In the early game they serve to get Wort out faster and if you can copy them in the late game you can get a ton of value. Mana dorks also help for the early and the late cause they can be used to conspire spells.

Utility: Cards like Cathartic Reunion and Thrill of Possibility are awesome to conspire and 4 cards for the price of 2. Panharmonicon works really well with Wort and triggers other cards like Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors double times. Twinning Staff is and all star card for this deck.

How the deck wins: This deck can be explosive early but generally plays for the mid to later game. With all of the tokens we want cards Purphoros, God of the Forge and Impact Tremors to deal huge amounts of damage. Massive Raid and burn at the steak are pet cards that can just knock a player out of the game from nowhere. Conspiring Chord of Calling to get Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts will win the game on the spot. My personal favorite card to win with is using all the ramp and playing a huge Comet Storm to kill everyone at once. Also Overrun and Triumph of the Hordes because infect is awesome.

What I’d like to add: This is the first version of the deck and a lot of the cards I want to be in this deck I just don’t have yet. Avenger of Zendikar would be an awesome include once I have a copy. Also anyways to blink wort to get more goblins would be nice.
