LOOKING FOR SUGGESTIONS!

First time running an aggro/beatdown deck, wanted to make a commander deck of this guy since I saw him.

1st installment, may have too many land falls not enough actual creatures. I will change it over time. I will try to stick with an all elemental creature theme as my group tends to go deep with gimmicks and themes.

THE DECK:

So the general idea (commander puns) of the deck is to beat down my opponents before they can combo off or kill them for trying to board wipe.

All elemental creatures! (except Purphoros and Xenagos, but they are good friends of elementals)

Toolbox creatures: Flamekin Harbringer gives me threats or situational creatures.

Generator Servant will help me get something on the board a turn or 2 faster. Mainly my commander if possible.

Incandescent Soulstoke is a good for finishing weak opponents or for a good "surprise!" moment.

Rakka Mar will help with blockers, attacking open opponents or procing Omnath, Locus of Rage

Smokebraider and Brightheart Banneret for faster creatures.

Budoka Gardener / Dokai, Weaver of Life and Fertilid for even more ramp

BEATSTICKS:

Cloudthresher for that annoying Kallia of the Vast player in my group.

Gaea's Revenge - BAM! Damage, haste and a little stickier to remove.

Liege of the Tangle can be a bit dangerous putting all your lands out there but can finish a game quickly.

Malignus may be a cheap 20/20 on average but a good beatstick all round just in case we have a life gain deck at the table.

Nova Chaser can be a dangerous surprise if someone isn't careful, with the championing feature it can protect something else for a small amount of time or can be a real surprise with a turn 3/4 burst damage attack from Incandescent Soulstoke

Phytotitan is annoying and sticks around, goes great with omnath!

Rubblehulk can be strong late game or turns that innocent 1/1 elemental creature someone smugly lets past his defences into a 13/13 elemental king hitter.

Vengevine is another creature that refuses to go away.

Vigor if left unchecked can really make a difference and with so many tokens involved it will certainly be a game changing element (more puns).

BURN AND DEATH: I put a handful of removal and burn in here including some board clear.

Cinder Elemental , Cloudthresher, Crater Elemental , Hateflayer (technically can be burn but with -1/-1 counters that stick around), Magmasaur , Magmatic Force, Warstorm Surge, Where Ancients Tread, Savage Twister .

The burn can finish players, kill creatures, wipe the board and may give Omnath enough juice for a 1 hit KO on the table!

TOKENS: For use with Omnaths second ability or Purphoros, God of the Forge. Having all these tokens enter and exit the field can be a real pain!

Doubling the fun! Doubling Season and Parallel Lives.

Avenger of Zendikar only makes plants instead of elementals but with some quick landfall they become scary.

Rakka Mar for 1 token each turn.

Titania, Protector of Argoth can go nuts with fetches.

Tempt with Vengeance to put a ton of tokens on the field in one burst.

Elemental Mastery with a large creature or Omnath himself can create havoc!

Zendikar's Roil is like a mini Omnath, well at least the first part of him.

LAND FETCH: This deck as a lot of ways to trigger landfall and ramp.

9 Lands that can fetch basics, 10 instants, sorceries, and artifacts to grab a small amount of lands. Ways to get these fetch lands back with Life from the Loam and Crucible of Worlds.

and finally Omnath goes bananas with hyper land fall cards like Animist Awakening, Boundless Realms and Scapeshift.

OTHER STUFF:Card advantage: Evolutionary Leap, Greater Good and Elemental Bond.

Giving creatures haste with Fervor and Fires of Yavimaya.

Defence with Constant Mists.

POSSIBLE COMBOS:

Savage Twister + Tempt with Vengeance . Pump all but 3 of your mana into getting tokens. With Omnath on the field, use the last 3 to Savage Twister for 1, causing massive burst damage.

Warstorm Surge or Where Ancients Tread + Boundless Realms or Scapeshift with Omanth for tons of burst damage and tokens. Get them haste and swing for lethal.
