All shall tremble, for Meren of Clan Nel Toth has exacted her furious vengeance against her traitorous clan, and has proven herself the true master of necromancy and raw sadistic power.

Now be warned those foolish enough to face me, for her immense graveyard power is at my beck and call.

We shall drain you to death with an undead army of those who are either wise, powerful, or reusable enough for Meren of Clan Nel Toth!

I'd like to thank the forces of evil, death metal, Aubrey Plaza, and any other masters of the dark arts that inspire my beautiful shinny deck that I am trying to foil out!

I REALLY want to keep it to as many creatures as possible. At least 35 at all times. Outside of creatures, a card has to provide a significant ability to either aide in putting creatures in graves, using creatures in graves, benefiting from creatures in graves, can be used in the grave, or has other powerful synergistic graveyard abilities.

Outside of graveyard cards, the card needs to provide great utility and almost always be useful, such as Song of the Dryads or Assassin's Trophy.

I also like most my cards to have an immediate impact, and not need to wait a turn or two unless it is:

 A. Cheap on CMC 
 B. Hard or unlikely to be targeted for removal or
 C. Must be a win condition when the board is set, like Rise of the Dark Realms or Command the Dreadhorde are. Sure those cards can do nothing in some cases but if I am doing anything right they should be near win cons once I am able to cast them.

The play style of my powerful deck is generally to build an engine and keep others away from the fact that attacking me will usually just get me Meren of Clan Nel Toth counters or active my aristocrats effects such as Poison-Tip Archer or Syr Konrad, the Grim, the latter who is great with dredge cards such as the classic Golgari Grave-Troll or Stinkweed Imp.

Eventually you want to get enough pieces down to drain people for immense amounts of life, while utilizing your own life as gas for the engine. I always live by the motto that you only need 1 life in the game to still win. This is a tactical fact I have learned from many video games where you should always prioritize one target because they still do full damage even with 1 HP (in most circumstances). I utilize this fact in order to have sometimes explosive turns. It is very fun and can get complicated quickly!
