This desck has NO infinite combos.

Maralen is a unique General. You should have access to 3 lands in your opening hand. Once Maralen is cast, the first search is going to be for Sword of the Animist, if she is still alive, search for Dark Deal or Teferi's Puzzle Box and essentially put everyone in a 'top decking' mode.

Mana ramping will be the next focus, though mana doublers usually make you a target, the Sword of the Animist will ensure a steady stream of lands. You may want to have Imp's Mischief or Withering Boon in hand to protect the sword. Don't worry about other players killing Maralen, she is expected to be a target and if everyone is 'top decking', you should hold the advantage.

This deck has three main win conditions, the first and most obvious would be Ob Nixilis, Unshackled followed by Opposition Agent as it would result in a quick demise, essentially dropping all other player's life total pretty quickly. Another way will be using drain effects to kill of everyone. Lastly, while it is mono black, we want to ramp, draw, outmaneuver your opponents
