This week we're kicking around ideas about Selesnya: the guild of herbal teas and essential oils. Listen to the podcast (link below) find out how Kyle’s Emmara build seeks alternative options that may require more motor oil than lavender oil to make this Selesnya engine hum.

The deck uses some traditionally WG approaches to getting Emmara tapped. Here's what we're doing to throw Emmara's Tap Dance Party:

Now I'm sure you're thinking, "Whoa! Clock of Omens is for artifacts!" That is correct. So obviously we need Mycosynth Lattice. Some aggressive card draw, a few tutors, and some potential for self mill should make this a possibility.

We might be feeling a bit exhausted after the tap dance party. So we are going to need an After Party Unwind:

Now because we have a variety of highly desirable artifacts, we may need to Indiana Jones That S#!t to a position we could possibly get them into play. Aside from drawing them, here are some options to get them:

Finally, because we're going to be making tokens and calling out board wipes, we want to setup some ways of getting instant benefits from death or instantly punish opponents for seeking to undo our plans. Obviously, some of these cards are more beneficial together. Such as an Ashnod's Altar + March of the Multitudes . With that little synergy we can respond to a board wipe by sacrificing our creatures to Ashnod's Altar to bank mana during the phase and instantly play out an even bigger board state with March of the Multitudes. What is Dead, May Never Die:

Since we're playing Selesnya, we may as well be hipster AF. Take this list and avoid the common GW token builds. Let's get weird and see what we can make happen.
