Just building an EDH deck of the one Khans clan that I can relate to: Abzan When I play, I'm in it for the long-game. I don't care to combo out by turn 5. My main goal is the Abzan philosophy, I want to outlast my opponents. Not beat them necessarily, but endure longer than them. I also like having more answers than my opponents.

So the deck:

Some of the best interactions in this deck, include Mycoloth + Cathars' Crusade. It can get really sexy, the longer both remain in play. Cathars' Crusade works with Ivorytusk Fortress, Champion of Lambholt, Retribution of the Ancients , Gyre Sage ,Ghave, Guru of Spores, and Twilight Drover. Obzedat, Ghost Council gives it repeatable triggers every turn and then sacing something to Korozda Guildmage or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord makes it Cathars' Crusade incredibly threatening.

Aura Shards also gets to have the repeatable interaction with Obzedat, Ghost Council, Mycoloth, and sometimes Korozda Guildmage. Don't forget Doubling Season and Parallel Lives.

Have some draw power with Deathreap Ritual. Also, Magister of Worth and Anafenza, the Foremost seem like pretty good friends in this deck. Either a board wipe or you get all of your creatures back.

All the new Abzan cards give great perks to everything with +1/+1 counters... so there's that... and Doubling Season, Hardened Scales, and Corpsejack Menace help significantly.

I also like the interacts between Cruel Sadist and Sprouting Phytohydra, Phytohydra , and Hornet Nest. If Mer-Ek Nightblade is in play, that's a different story, but still has the possibility of taking out threats with just a ping.

I threw in cards like Sheoldred, Whispering One, Wing Shards , and Glaring Spotlight because there's a player in group that has a pretty nasty Narset EDH and there's a lot of target removal in here, so I needed to make sure I had ways to actually... well... target.
