This is the only mono-green mill deck you'll ever need! Its also possibly the only one you'll ever be able to build! Why go infinite with combos that everyone knows about when you can go psuedo-infinite with Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant !

This deck runs a ton of BASIC lands as required by Sasaya's text, and just as many ways to keep a full grip to make sure that you can flip her the turn she comes down. Sometimes, its also nice to wait until she becomes the target of a spell or ability and then flip her in response to a kill spell targeting a creature. Once your commander engine is running, your mana will now be squaring with every additional basic forest. With all of that mana, otherwise unplayable cards like Tower of Fortunes and Rings of Three Wishes actually work quite well in this deck to fill your hand at instant speed and tutor for the game-ending pieces. It is also quite hilarious to drop crazy pet cards of mine like Storm Cauldron , Winter Orb , and Rocket Launcher just for the reactions.

As for winning via our preferred method (this is a mill deck - remember???), we do it by using several artifacts: Sands of Delirium , Altar of the Brood , Altar of Dementia , and my favorite finisher, Keening Stone . Two of our alters work by rewarding us when we go wide with our tokens producers like Wolfbriar Elemental , Ant Queen , and Hydra Broodmaster both when they hit the field and then as we sac them to mill. Sands and the Stone work as solo pieces with the right amount of mana, but ideally you'll always want to start with Sands of Delirium and them finish with Keening Stone .

Most of the other cards in this deck are self explanatory, but if you have any questions about my inclusions or have recommendations, please let me know in the comments and I will address them! This deck wants lands in hand and multiple land drops per turn, and there are several cards in this deck that do just that. Nearly every creature in this deck helps you untap lands or draw cards - after much tinkering I thought that this would be the best way to manage whether you want to drop a land or just untap the one on the field.

This deck was created because green is known for Overrun ing your enemies with an Overwhelming Stampede , but I think that is a bit boring. A noteable card not included is Helix Pinnacle for the same reasons - its boring. Im trying to mill the whole table or die trying.

Note: The maybeboard is the aquireboard. All of those cards would help this deck tremendously but are cards that I currently do not own.
