Deck Philosophy

Before anything else I want to talk about the idea behind the deck, and why I choose the cards I did. For a while I had wanted to build a politics deck with voting and everything, but I had trouble getting the deck to work. Often votes would end up not how I wanted or not favoring me. The epiphany came when I realized it was because to make a politics deck work you need to make a power politics deck, a "what can you do for me" deck. I realized that traditional politics cards often put the power in your opponents hands with them asking, "what I could do for them", and that allowing a Tooth and Nail to resolve could be one of the most powerful moves I could make.

After that I started to brew a control and punish deck with cards that I could gain political power to make deals with my opponents, and punish them for betraying those deals. The above deck is the first brew of that list. I look forward to seeing what you think and potential suggestion to make it better.
