I did some digging and white does currently have several cards that can return planeswalkers: Emeria Shepherd Obzedat's Aid (also black) Faith's Reward Profound Journey

Blue has gotten a form of planeswalker retrieval in the form of Monastery Loremaster

Luminarch Ascension, Heirloom Blade, Herald's Horn, Vanquisher's Banner, Zendikar Resurgent, Profound Journey, Angel of Serenity, Karmic Guide, Sunblast Angel, Angel of the Dire Hour, and Marshal's Anthem. I have found great value with every card listed. Let me know if you need me to go more in depth.

I personally don't bother with the boarding feature of tappedout - my tappedout lists are the ideal version of each deck that I can trade towards.

There quite a few cards that don't really synergize that can be cut: Ixalli's Keeper, Jaddi Offshoot, Jadecraft Artisan, Howl of the Horde, Profound Journey, Sigil of the Empty Throne, Prismatic Strands, Darksteel Pendant, Scroll of the Masters. You don't need spells to pump up your dinosaurs as they're already plenty big: Buccaneer's Bravado, Giant Growth, Crash the Ramparts. Some weak dinosaurs can be cut: Orazca Frillback, Raptor Companion. My thinking is that you don't need the weaker cheap creatures if you spend your early turns ramping so that you can start playing scary dinosaurs from turn 4.

My ideal version of a Gishath deck would be something like: 37 land, 3 mana rocks, 11(!) mana ramp spells, 10 answer spells (removal, board wipes), 4 protection spells (mainly stuff that can keep Gishath safe like Lightning Greaves), 30 dinosaurs, 5 non-dinosaurs that synergize well with the dinosaurs (e.g. Forerunner of the Empire).

Okie dokie! So, heres What Id recommend:

  1. Mana. Your land base is fine, though 38 is a little much for a creature heavy deck, since you want cheap and fast dudes. Id say cut one of each basic land, Horn of Greed, and Thaumatic Compass  Flipfor the three signets in these colors, Sol Ring and Hedron Archive. Dont forget sad robot, Solemn Simulacrum!

  2. Board wipes! Instead of Release the Gremlins, Vandalblast is a bunch better. You dont have to spend as much for basically the same effect, minus the tokens. Wrath of God can replace Death Grasp, and Wear / Tear is better than Hide/Seek.Mortify And Boros Charm would also work great. Finally, instead of Profound Journey, Living Death is great - a wipe + instant advantage if a lot of your cards are in the grave.

  3. Tutors and planeswalkers!Instead of Elspeth Tirel, Elspeth, Sun's Champion makes tokens AND can wrath, plus a buff as an ultimate. Always awesome. Sorin, Grim Nemesis is a bit costly, but can also work as a Dark confidant, for opponents LP instead. You DO need more tutors, as I noticed. Increasing Ambition is a pet card of mine, and Diabolic Tutor is a classic. Even Faithless Looting can give you some cheap card advantage early on. What you could replace for those is up to you, though, if anything.

  4. Combos and jank creatures! One card you should throw in is Ashnod's Altar - getting rid of cheap tokens for mana ad damage is one thing, but if you add a can like Banisher Priest and sacrifice it upon entering, the thing you Target will be permanently exiled. Alesha, Who Smiles at Death would be another cool addition for graveyard shenanigans, and by default, her pal Master of Cruelties would come out to play. Then theres the big girls: Aurelia, the Warleader and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight are just awesome. Hero of Bladehold and Hero of Oxid Ridge are great because of their attacking abilities, and Iroas, God of Victory always ensures protection. While were on gods, Purphoros, God of the Forge + a frequently forgotten card, Assemble the Legion, lets you slowly gain an advantage. Or, just go with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscriptsfor a short and sweet win. Just in case, theres always Panharmonicon for all your jank ETB needs.

Phew...I THINK thats everything off the top of my head! Lol

Hello! Awesome deck!

What I like:

Love the color, theme, and commander choice! Seem really fun!

Love the inclusion of Elspeth, Sun's Champion, obviously!

I like all the lands that ping you for mana! Very clever!

Some suggestions to put in:

The first thing I thought of was Cathars' Crusade and am shocked you don't have it already!

Second thing was Suture Priest, who is almost a copy of Soul Warden for you.

You need need need NEED card draw. Mentor of the Meek, Slate of Ancestry, and Skullclamp would take this to the next level.

Knight-Captain of Eos is a repeatable Fog effect for cheap. Amazing with Selfless Squire

Weathered Wayfarer, Burnished Hart, Land Tax, and Gift of Estates are all some ways to keep consistant land drops.

Dusk / Dawn for a one sided boardwipe.

Some to take out:

Angelic Chorus seems kinda expensive for what it does.

Spectral Searchlight can be replaced with better mana rocks. Unless there's some group-hug reason for it being here.

Sword of Vengeance kinda seems kinda random here.

Profound Journey is wayyy over costed, even with the rebound. White has better recursion options.

Hope some of this helps! Good luck!

RUST-O the only issue that I have with Profound Journey is that it costs 7. I don't have anything in the entire deck that costs that much, so it probably wouldn't fit all that well in my deck. I appreciate the suggestion though!

I like the Marchesa list. Have you considered Delaying Shield?
