Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

This deck is a work in progress, any recommendations are appreciated.

As will likely be the case with most Yidris decks, the main aim here is to get the most cascade triggers out of him. Cards that grant double strike (Fireshrieker), give extra combat phases (World at War, Seize the Day), or even just copy the triggered ability (Strionic Resonator) allow multiple instances of cascade on cards cast in the post-combat main phase(s).

Bear Umbra and Sword of Feast and Famine allow for the maximum amount of mana post-combat to cast bigger spells.

Drake Umbra, Aqueous Form, Whispersilk Cloak, even cards like Torrent Elemental and Wonder allow Yidris some basic evasion to get some damage through.

Cards with the delve mechanic afford Yidris some more breathing room, the cards discarded or thrown away as the result of cards like Satyr Wayfinder, Behold the Beyond, and Windfall can be used to fuel bigger delve spells to cascade with.

Sensei's Divining Top and Lim-Dul's Vault allow for topdeck/cascade filtering.
