There is a place where nobody goes willingly, where disease and squalor spread, where the only way to survive is to make sure someone else doesn't. The one path in is insanity, and the one path out is death.

Watching it all is a demon. His only interest is ensuring that nobody lives long enough to crawl up to his level. And if someone somehow survives, his punishment comes quickly and stays forever.

Aside from Lord Xander, this deck doesn't use any creatures, not even tokens. To protect itself, it can either shut down attacks or just kill everything. Since it has no creatures, your opponents will be forced to use their kill spells on each other. AEther Flash + Death Pits of Rath makes things go away fast along with Vile Consumption and Pendrell Mists. And there's a good selection of control for noncreature stuff, too. The win condition here is more or less Chandra, Awakened Inferno and a pile of chip damage, with a side of Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Or just locking your opponents out of creatures and spamming Elixir of Immortality until they concede. Suggestions for better win conditions, and improvements in general, are welcome, as are any other comments, questions, or general musings.

Going with signets over talismans to avoid self-bounce with Dissipation Field. Leaving out the pain lands cycle for the same reason. The goal is zero anti-synergy or self-conflict, so that all the parts reinforce each other. Plus, bouncing your own mana sources isn't great long-term strategy, and Dissipation Field is important and unique enough that it gets priority.

Still tuning for high Bracket 2-ish. Bracket 3 game changers would be Rhystic Study, Cyclonic Rift, and Demonic Tutor, or (proxy) The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, if I can get away with a $X,000 card.
