The Goal of this deck is to come out swinging in the early game with beaters like Ball Lightning and Lightning Skelementaland using Orcus to clear the way midgame using his secondary ability to board wipe as often as needed. Erratic Portal, Command Beacon, and Sanctum of Eternity allow us to get repeated uses of this ability, and to to recur a beater or two if needed.

We typically wont have a large board state due to most of our creatures sacrificing themselves after combat so Board wipes like Blasphemous Act and The Meathook Massacre help keep the pressure off, along with distractions like Rite of the Raging Storm and goad from Komainu Battle Armor. Hanweir Battlements   and Hanweir Garrison   are there because I like to have at least one combo in each deck that can make for a memorable game, and getting that to activate seems fun.
