I've recently been on a Commander high despite my ass being thoroughly handed to me by my pal's "Saheeli, the Gifted" deck. So while mulling through my cards to build a Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest deck, I found my Golos and thought about how a janky deck themed around throwing lands every-which way would be fun.

Most of the cards in this deck are ones I presently own, I'm somewhat restricting my budget on suggestion cards. Something like Sensei's Divining Top would be the upper limit of what I would spend.

Listed here are the main ideas that went through my head making this deck.

The major idea behind the deck was to use Borborygmos Enraged along with Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Life from the Loam to pitch upwards of 6 lands a turn with enough mana. However, Omnath, Locus of Rage's tokens pairs decently with Altar of Dementia to mill one player out while blasting the other to hell in a smoldering crater. Fiery Emancipation just increases the size of said crater either of our win conditions send their way.
So the plan is to use Golos to free-cast all your major deck pieces as well as reducing the number of lands you hit through the EBT trigger. With those lands that you play, you can sacrifice them for some life against more aggressive decks (Zuran Orb) or further plays when you feel like you can afford to go big (Squandered Resources). Chromatic Orrery makes this go a long way with this fixing abilities. Scroll Rack makes sure your largest costed cards sit nicely on the top of your deck for Golos to get maximum value out when you roll it's effect.
Through the use of Constant Mists, we can fumble our way through combat by saccing a land to buyback our card, otherwise our small, weak creatures will take the brunt of the assault until Golos lets us put on the gas. Sylvan Safekeeper lets us save important creatures from targeted removal, while Korozda Guildmage lets us make a small army at the cost of a creature and some mana and Naya Charm lets us shut down an offense before it even hits the combat phase of that player's turn.
Lol, idk. I have trouble making commander decks as a semi-casual of Modern. All jokes aside, the deck has a few ways to draw more cards, pitch large creatures we can't cast for our smaller ones in the grave or just abuse Scroll Rack for the hell of it. Season of Growth is a great card early game since it gives our creatures an EBT scry effect. We also have a mixture of effects that allow us the top card of our library and play as if it was another card in hand.
