Respect the shuffle

Ever wanted to shuffle a thousand times while annoying your friends?

A bit of mad science, this deck is built around cheating out artifacts and thinning our deck to try to turtle up. The Commander Oswald Fiddlebender does a lot of heavy lifting to set up a few multi-card combos as well as lets the pilot blitz through the deck with surprising consistency. It doesn't go infinite (yet) but can find ourselves dragging out games and delaying for someone else. I currently don't have a 'win condition' per say, but I've definitely forced a few Scoops. The mana curve might seem a bit lopsided but it is because of how the deck works in general. But seriously respect the shuffle, you'll be doing it a LOT with this deck.

Play Style

The big thing this deck does is play cheap artifacts then trade them up for ETB's and Death triggers that get traded for higher power artifacts. Other than that, this is, as I can best describe it, a stall deck. We want to make our opponents really earn those victories, and occasionally win on rage scoops, locking out win conditions, as well as some sneaky damage with a few cards. later after set up we will switch to flickering specific creatures and artifacts to drain life, or destroy permanents. we need to be able to judge what our opponents might be doing in order to prioritize certain cards over others. If someone is setting up for infinite pings with something like a blasting station, some reduce damage goes a long way, while someone trying to voltron up you can crack down on them with some targeted removal. assessing threats and breaking them or slowing them down is the name of the game.

Notable Cards:

Oswald Fiddlebender - The commander - Our primary engine. Even basic mana rocks can start the chain off, and we can go pretty nutty with. Since he puts cards straight into play we can get ETBs that are impactful in the moment.

Panharmonicon - Double down on those impactful ETBs by triggering them again. chains easily out of a three drop, I've never regretted getting it out and a lot of people target it once they know what's happening.

Teleportation Circle - This is a very odd one but it lets us repeat ETBs. If you get this in play keep an eye out for Meteor Golem, Spine of Ish Sah, and Duplicant - who all ETB to destroy or exile cards. If recovery is needed Sanctum Gargoyle and Trusty Packbeast let us get key players back into our hands.

The "fortress" - Probably needs work

God-Pharaoh's Statue - Slow your opponents down with this handy +2 to cast for them, plus it will slowly drain life. won't make you friends but also will get you time.

Norn's Annex - If they aren't playing white, watch them enjoy this card as incoming attacks cost the opponent Phyrexian White mana (2 or W)

Ghostly Prison - make them pay 2 to attack you, a classic

Sphere of Safety - While you aren't running many enchantments this can add up being between 1 and 4 per creature to attack you

Reidane, God of the Worthy   (flip) Valkmira, Protector's Shield - While not tutorable, this does give us some options to either slow down big cast spells as a creature or as the flip decreasing damage to our creatures and ourselves and making people pay to target. We will likely be doing more of the latter than the former.

Protection of the Hekma - Prevents 1 damage to face from all sources. An option to stop ping combos

Urza's Armor - As with the above enchantment, this artifact is pretty straight forward, decreasing those pesky pings, and also as a 6 cost artifact something we can sac to get our Spine and Golem when the time calls for it.

Creator's Picks

Rogue's Passage-The closest thing to giving ourselves a win condition. Attacking in with a buffed creature (Nettlecyst and Blackblade Reforged)

Detection Tower - Hexproof removal, but also not entirely needed. mostly just a way to deal since we don't board wipe too much

Flood Plain, Bant Panorama, Evolving Wilds, and Terramorphic Expanse - odd listings in a mono white deck, but the idea is more to thin the deck than to fix colors.

Helm of the Host and Cogwork Assembler - these are here mostly to just duplicate effects opponents are struggling to deal with to push advantage

Feel free to give some ideas and feedback. This is a work in progress. some cards are currently included purely for their mana value so that I can get up the chain.
