I wanna punch my opponent with my commander for the win!

I want to start this summary off with the statement "I have no idea how to build or play big creature decks, but I think they are neat." With that out of the way lets get into the meat of it.

Deck Building Philosophy:

The idea I had for this deck is to put a big scary commander on the field and punch down opponents with Commander Damage in one go. My group has basically ruled that poison damage is too strong in EDH and has all but told me I cant play that deck, so being the defiant little s@#t I am, I switched to the next best thing. Ideally this deck utilizes things like Lure of Prey, Lurking Predators, and Pattern of Rebirth to slam out some creatures quickly and reduce my Commander's mana cost so I can punch opponents with his tiny, tiny grabbers. If this fails then the next plan is to slam as many lands onto the field in a short time in order to pay whatever CMC I need to to get creatures onto the battlefield and reduce my Commander's CMC.
