This deck is based around the new ability counters, released in Ikoria. Because Skullbriar keeps any counters when he dies, we can ignore most keyword equipment, and run mostly counters. Also, he lets us sacrifice him to things like Disciple of Bolas. The only issue is the we don't have many effects like Decree of Savagery, so you'll have to rely on Skullbriar's other ability.
