I see you've got the odd thing that can (or just does) put tokens on an opponent's creature, have you thought about a Generous Patron to draw cards? Patron can buff your Commander if you want, but can also draw you some cards on the spot while providing a blocker, and it can keep drawing cards with subsequent counters.

Not sure if it's a big enough buff, but Increasing Savagery can be pretty substantial.

Ashaya, Soul of the Wild and other stuff that can turn Skullbriar into a land can make your Commander pretty hard to bounce, including with Cyclonic Rift. There are way fewer bounce spells that can target lands, and land removal/hate isn't overwhelmingly common.

Nesting Grounds can move a counter around, not always worthwhile but it's a handy card if you're putting counters on other creatures for whatever reason.

Daring Fiendbonder can give Skullbriar an Indestructible counter, a very good type to have access to, in addition to being a 5/1 Haste for 4 mana if you just want a body to swing at a vulnerable player with.

It's headed down in price (and might go lower), so I feel like mentioning Shizo, Death's Storehouse, Fear is pretty useful evasion, and a land is a nice source. In the same vein (and also on the pricey side) Witch's Clinic, which can give any Commander Lifelink. These are both nice because they tend to stick around, and I think both can affect other people's Commanders in a pinch.

You might look at Rite of the Raging Storm and Exquisite Blood, maybe Berserkers' Onslaught, even a Mask of Griselbrand as a backup to your Skullcap idea, paying 3 to draw 5 always feels great in my Pavel build, and the Evasion/Lifelink are often relevant. I run a ton of wipes and removal, perhaps the best of which is Make an Example, which is just backbreaking to any deck reliant on having a specific creature on the board, and it hits each opponent in such a way that it's almost impossible to protect against short of countering it. As my deck hates being interacted with itself (it's full of chonky spells/effects just begging to get countered) I run Boiling Seas and Omen of Fire, alongside a Citadel of Pain, Pavel can soak up a lot of spare mana anyways. Pyroblast and Red Elemental Blast might be more reasonable than adding Boil, but the deck loves hosing Islands for some reason. Since I run lots of board wipes, I tossed in Tyrite Sanctum and Daring Fiendbonder to give stuff Indestructible. I mostly run utility creatures like Agitator Ant or token generators like Ophiomancer and Ogre Slumlord, I'm presently at 16 creatures in the 99, so it doesn't usually matter if I'm wiping the board 3 or 4 times in a game. It's not unusual to win off of a timely Thieves' Auction, it's funny when you have a deck full of questionable permanents, some people will just scoop to it as well, it's a salty card to some. I mean if you're already running Omen of Fire, why not throw in Thieves' Auction?

Hope some of these ideas can synergize with your build, Pavel is a great under-utilized Commander, I built him more janky, but the deck is truly a blast to play.

Tyrite Sanctum can give Sarulf an indestructible counter, as can Daring Fiendbonder, but it might be hard to get that one into your graveyard. Witch's Clinic might be nice if Sarulf gets big. Other stuff that gives an ability counter might also be worth a look, Titanoth Rex for Trample, but Indestructible is a particularly useful ability in a deck like this. Culling Ritual might be a good way to get under Sarulf and grab a bunch of +1/+1 counters, especially if people run lots of tokens in your meta.

Not sure it's wise, but it'd be hilarious to throw in a Worldslayer for Sarulf to use with Darksteel Plate or some other indestructible source, it's pretty strong if you can set it up. It's also funny imagining a big wolf clamping a human-sized sword between his teeth.

I could be wrong on this too, but I feel like you probably want some ramp sources that put lands into play, Green has tons of ways to do that. If you're really that concerned about cards being 1 dimensional (and being potentially dead), you can run Wood Elves, Farhaven Elf and Springbloom Druid to get lands into play while also offering a blocker I guess?

I like the idea of adding more defensive spells, very cool and challenging Commander to build.

What an absolute horror of a deck!

Wondering why no Damnation or Damn though?

There's lots of ways to protect your commander from them too with Equipment or Black cards like Darksteel Plate, Azra Smokeshaper, Daring Fiendbonder, Gift of Doom, Oblivion's Hunger, Professor's Warning, Renegade's Getaway, Rush of Vitality, Unlikely Aid, and Without Weakness.

Thank you very much for all the advice multimedia. Excellent point about having indestructible protection. I’ll definitely be adding Daring Fiendbonder, Tyrite Sanctum, and Gift of Doom.

I don’t like tutors in general as they make your games pretty similar. However, I was unable to add as many big body demons as I would like due to budget constraints. I’ll definitely need a graveyard tutor or two to make sure I hit them. It sucks that they’re so expensive too.

I’m confused as to the adding sac outlets suggestion. Why would I sac my reanimated creatures rather than leave them alive, and instead have cards to fill my graveyard thereby giving Olivia more targets? If that came off as rude it was unintentional. I’m worried it may, but I can’t think of a better way to phrase it.

Once again thank you kindly for the advice, and if there’s anything in here you think is a waste of a spot I’m all ears.

Hey, well done, you have good card sense on a budget. Nice Master of Cruelties and interesting Demon theme.

Board wipes are very popular in multiplayer Commander and a single board wipe really wrecks you unless you can protect a legendary Vampire from being removed. Consider some budget cards to give Olivia or another legendary Vampire indestructible?

  • Gift of Doom: cast it as a morph for three mana and then morph it even at instant speed for no mana cost just sacing a creature.
  • Tyrite Sanctum: land that can be a repeatable way to put a +1/+1 counter on any legendary creature you control and after doing so you can sac it at instant speed to give that creature indestructible.
  • Daring Fiendbonder: discard it and then exile it from your graveyard for two mana.
  • Professor's Warning: instant for one mana until end of turn.

Some other cards to consider adding:

Many of these suggestions to consider are sac outlets that way you can take advantage of sacing and then reanimating the same creatures with Olivia especially Master of Cruelties.

If interested I offer more advice including cuts to consider. Good luck with your deck.

I recently made a Tormod deck partnering him with Esior, Wardwing Familiar. I was debating making it a while I was building it. If I did go Orzhov, it probably would've looked pretty similar to this! Well done!

I do have a few suggestions, though. Tortured Existence is a must. for a zombie token? At instant speed? Definitely an all star in my deck. I'd also recommend Daring Fiendbonder as a way to give a commander indestructible, Necromancer's Stockpile for it's multi-purpose value and Bloodghast, Nether Traitor and Scourge of Nel Toth as threats that will keep coming back over and over. Sevinne's Reclamation is probably also worth checking out.
