Psychic Intrusion

Sorcery

Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from that player's graveyard or hand and exile it. You may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any colour to cast that spell.

Yo!

Goedkopere mill lijkt me daarom beter. werkt ook niet samen met Cast Through Time

Mind Sculpt , Glimpse the Unthinkable (wel dure kaart), Mind Funeral

kaarten uit graveyard roven: Rise of the Dark Realms , Beacon of Unrest , Mnemonic Betrayal

Hey Artatras,

thank you for your interesting, I'll write from now on the changes directly in the updates-window. If someone is reading this, I compare this deck with "The Many-Faced God" - [[Primer]]

Enhanced Surveillance performs in this deck very well, because I've put many cards with the Surveil-ability in it. The second ability of this card is also useful in an emergency case like any effect is going to exile all graveyard cards. If those cards go back into the library it isn't the worst, for sure better than getting away from the game. This card is no power-up, but I like it a lot and with many Surveil-cards this enchantment fits in this decks strategy. I don't see this card in your deck, you have a lot of cards to loot cards like Looter il-Kor , Key to the City ,.. and not so much Surveil-cards. In my opinion Enhanced Surveillance needs many Dimir cards with the named ability. This is just a fine difference between our decks, guess it's not worth to skip any other card for this specific one.

Yes, Telepathy is awesome, especially in this control-fancy playstyle. In commander we know that we can't counter everything (and that's for so many reasons really good!) so this helps a lot to get advantage in the game. I recommend this card a lot. It doesn't do anything on it's own, but not only you can see other players hand. Each opponent may get suspicious too when seeing any other opponents cards. I see this card in any deck which has a passive strategy.

In my deck there are of course many possible upgrades, but I'm not interested to rise up the power level to a 9 or 10 of 10. First it's hard to achieve, second those decks have a very strict game plan and last I like to play anything interesting like Thief of Sanity , Mnemonic Betrayal ,... Recently I changed some cards, hope it does work well. One card I try is Dark Confidant over Phyrexian Arena , because of a very low average CMC and the Confidant is in addtion a creature card too.

I'm monitoring your deck as well and I like it as a really good reference. To your question of which cards I'm considering at the moment: Perplexing Chimera , Dimir Doppelganger and Psychic Intrusion . I've put in Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver to force the deck theme in a specific direction.

Ok, so, first thing to do is to focus on what green cards you have that let you ramp. As said: Sakura-Tribe Elder, Explore, Utopia Sprawl, Farseek, Oath of Nissa, Search for Tomorrow, Birds of Paradise, Cultivate, Rampant Growth, Beneath the Sands, Burnished Hart, Dawntreader Elk, Expedition Map, Font of Fertility, Wayfarer's Bauble, Sylvan Scrying and Harrow are good options.
Of this, you should put at least 8 cards (I suggest Sakura-Tribe Elder, Birds of Paradise, Farseek, Oath of Nissa or Sylvan Scrying). I don't really like From Beyond, Blisterpod, Catacomb Sifter, Void Attendant, Warden of Geometries and Grave Birthing, since they cost too much and they let you have only colorless mana, thing that you don't need since you are three-coloured.
Then, as said before, I'd increase Gonti, Lord of Luxury and Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver up to 2x copies and I don't really like Nightveil Specter, alternatives could be: Circu, Dimir Lobotomist, Bribery, Praetor's Grasp, Psychic Intrusion, Stolen Goods. Oblivion Sower it's a funny card, I'd put in in 1x.

Another thing: You have some big creatures and you are black-green-blue, I'd increase your land number up to 22. Remember also to choose lands that could be searched when you are ramping (if you have chosen to ramp only with cards that search for BASIC lands, well, put at least 4x basic lands of each type). Some lands you could might consider: obviously fetch lands and schocklands, Darkslick Shores, Blooming Marsh, Botanical Sanctum, Drowned Catacomb, Woodland Cemetery, Hinterland Harbor, Fetid Pools, Underground River, Llanowar Wastes, Yavimaya Coast, Sunken Ruins, Twilight Mire, Flooded Grove , Sunken Hollow. For all the rest of the cards that could enter your deck, I'll wait to see if you like the direction your deck is going and, most important thing, what types of cards you have chosen to ramp, to be your manabase and wich cards will steal your opponent's cards.

I like the theme of this deck a lot. I am more familiar with Commander but I can tell this deck is truly evil. Perhaps Psychic Intrusion and Extract from Darkness could be options to consider? Or are they too expensive for Casual?

A regular at my LGS has a sweet Bolas-theme deck, with a few deeper references. Some of the highlights are Tetsuo Umezawa (though with his price tag, any Umezawa should work. Bolas has a grudge against all Umezawas after Tetsuo was able to defeat him), judge promo Mana Drain (also pretty expensive, but it’s the only one with Bolas flavor text), Herald of Leshrac, and various cards with names similar to Bolas’s power suite (Psychic Intrusion, Extract from Darkness, etc.). His was very spell-based, and really fun to play against for the lore and thought dedicated to the references. I know some of these are kinda expensive, but I hope this helps!

@Enral Thanks, I like the idea of adding SDT. I'll have to see what to take out for that card.

@Valzasaurus Glad you enjoy it.

About life gain: Don't worry! The cool thing about theft deck is that the answers always lie in your opponents decks ;)

So these are the cards you probably have overlooked: Dead Man's Chest, Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Acquire, Expropriate, Knowledge Exploitation, Mind's Dilation, Praetor's Grasp, Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni, Sakashima the Impostor, Evil Twin, Stolen Identity, Psychic Intrusion, Memory Plunder, Sakashima's Student, Thada Adel, Acquisitor, Daring Thief & Silent-Blade Oni

I used to run disk but both often did me more harm than good. My deck is pretty reliant on mana rocks and boardstate. If necessary I can use cards like Psychic Intrusion, Memory Plunder, and so on to cast a white or green deck's removal.

As somebody who has tried to use Psychic Intrusion, trust me when I say there's simply better cards to use. It's not worth the effect.
