This is what I'm thinking: The Armored Skaab , Dimir Informant , Homarid Explorer , Laboratory Brute and the Mulldrifter All have ETB triggers which you can benefit from again if you flicker them. If you flicker after a block it keeps your crit from dying and you net the ETB gain. I Would find a spot for a Mnemonic Wall (Maybe out (1) more petitioner). This way you can flicker the wall and get your flicker back and do it continually. It's essentially a continuous mill (Using your crits that have the mill ETB) and card draw if you use it with Mulldrifter . You'll always have the flicker if you bounce the wall and another crit. You can also run a Radiant Fountain in lieu of of Island and flicker it and the wall to gain life over and over. It's a combo that gets used in my blue decks on a reg basis. I'm going to build my version and I'll link you to it. I have been looking into building this deck since I saw Petitioner and I guess it's time to actually get to it. I'm glad you had the same idea. Keep me posted. =]

You can't build a consistent Standard deck with only one copy of so many cards.

To start with, I would remove:

3x Drunau Corpse Trawler
1x Gisa and Geralf
1x Laboratory Brute
3x Stitched Mangler
1x Wailing Ghoul
1x Contingency Plan

Try to add:

3x Cryptbreaker
2x Diregraf Colossus
3x Relentless Dead
2x Fetid Pools
2x Sunken Hollow

4x Sunken Hollow if you have the cash

I would try to remove ALL the Sorceries and put in extra Fatal Push, Grasp of Darkness, and Turn Aside

Have a good look at this deck, as it's basically the best way to build Zombies at the moment, and should give you a few tips.

I've played a more creature-based version of this commander, so while my suggestions may be skewed towards creatures, I hope they'll be helpful at the very least.

Self Mill

Token Generators/Reanimators

Zombie Lords

Personal Favorites

Honorary Zombies

Also, Grimgrin, Gravecrawler, and Rooftop Storm is an infinite loop for massive damage, if that kind of thing matters to you.

Nice deck :)

I'd suggest more cards similar to Frantic Search that will filter through your deck and dump zombies into your graveyard.

Fact or Fiction, Monastery Siege, Forbidden Alchemy, Fortune's Favor, and Epiphany at the Drownyard all work great in my version. Perpetual Timepiece is also great and filling the graveyard.

Other great zombies: Vengeful Dead, Armored Skaab, Laboratory Brute, Geralf's Mindcrusher

Hope this helps!

Oh wow. So many great suggestions! You rock dude! Awesome!

Nightscape Familiar looks like it would fit in here perfect. Especially since he has regen. Very nice.

I was gonna run Undead Warchief but I was trying to keep the deck cheap enough I can buy it and my Vampire cards next week. So instead of him I have Diregraf Captain and Gisa and Geralf(bomb card btw). As for his cost lowering I'm trying to set it up where I can bring Rooftop Storm out early an cast creatures for free.

You're spot on about needing some drawing spells. No idea how I missed that! Rush of Knowledge looks good. Also considering Pilfered Plans or Whispering Madness since I could cast it more than once with it's cipher ability. But I think Rush of Knowledge would get the most results.

For some early milling the cards you recommended look great! I had Screeching Skaab on my list. I liked Returned Reveler better, cause he mills both players. But you're right I could drop Laboratory Brute and run both! Necromancer's Assistant also looks good!

Liliana being my favorite Planeswalker, naturally she was my first choice. But my friend I play with has a habit of going after planeswalkers before anything else. So I would have to chance her not getting killed. Although, just thought of this, her second ability could replace Diabolic Tutor and she can mill. Hmmm need to consider that one for sure!

One question though, if she got milled what could I use to get her out?

And yep your beast deck is a beast! You have so many good decks I still haven't looked through them All. I'm gonna start on my green deck later tonight, after I decide which tribe for sure.

Glad I'm not bugging you bro. Have a great day and have a gummy worm! (Sour ones are bomb!)And if you have nothing better to do you can look at my demon deck I made the other day. ("Triple six Clubhouse") like most of my decks the name is hip-hop inspired.

Btw, you have no idea how much I appreciate your help man!

Looks very solid, dude!Blue dark ritual? can't help you there... but! Nightscape Familiar makes your blue spells cheaper :DIf you're doing zombie-mill, Lich Lord of Unx is a must have, in my book at least :)If you can afford an Undead Warchief or two, your entire army will thank you - and the tokens that your Undead Alchemist produces will be massive threats!Rooftop Storm is magnificent, but you'll get soooo much more out of it if you have some massive drawpoer at hand. Distant Melody is real good, but Rush of Knowledge is a bit more reliable, since having the rooftop storm in play means a guaranteed six-card-draw.If you wan't your creatures to mill you early, might I suggest Screeching Skaab or Armored Skaab instead of Laboratory Brute. If you dare use him, Dralnu, Lich Lord can give your instants and sorceries in your GY soe extra bang for the buck. Those were my two cents, i think.this looks great, and I love the focus and purpose of the milling! you might like Liliana Vess in here too, her ultimate is Rise of the dark realms on a stick :)

I'm so happy you like my beast deck, and I'm thrilled you ask me for advice. You're no where near "bugging" me. I'm highly narcissistic, so any questions or comments fill me with great glee. keep 'em comming ;)

Nice deck! Looks like you started playing Magic around the same time I did (Theros block) from your card choices? Anyways, I also love Sidisi, Brood Tyrant as a commander and I have a deck here: Taigam's Scheming (Turn 2 Win) Feel free to check it out and leave a +1, but don't worry about the card choice since I took the deck in a very different direction. My meta is semi competitive so I needed to up the power level just to not be outclassed.

Seeing that you are going the full on zombie route, you are missing the best part of going tribal: Zombie Lords!!! Check these out: Cemetery Reaper, Death Baron, Diregraf Captain, Lord of the Undead, Risen Executioner, Undead Warchief, and Zombie Master.
Most of these cards are older and may be harder to find/expensive, but they are well worth it when your army of 2/2's become 5/5's with deathtouch!

There are 2 ways to get more zombies with Sidisi: Attack or MillIf you want to attack, then you need more evasion and protection for Sidisi. She needs to survive combat so that she can attack each turn!
If you want to mill, you need cards that take the top cards of your library and dump them directly into your grave. That will trigger Sidisi just like an attack. To find cards that mill, go on Gatherer and search for key words: "top", "card", "library", "graveyard". But to get you started with the most recent Magic sets I present: Perpetual Timepiece, Codex Shredder, Contingency Plan, Taigam's Scheming, Crawling Sensation, Corpse Churn, Gisa and Geralf, and Laboratory Brute.

I would suggest a combination of both of the above strategies. You want to make sure you have enough creatures in your deck (maybe 33%) so that you get an almost guaranteed chance of triggering Sidisi with each attack/mill. And also remember that milling multiple creatures at once only gives you 1 zombie each time. So mill only a few cards at a time.

Solid start to a fun and powerful deck! If you want more advice on general EDH deck building (like how many lands to put in, how much artifact ramp, etc.) I'd be happy to help. Happy brewing!
