Inquisitorial Rosette
Artifact — Equipment
Inquisition Agents — Whenever equipped creature attacks, create a 2/2 white Astartes Warrior creature token with vigilance that's attacking. Then attacking creatures gain menace until end of turn.
Equip (: Attach this to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery. This enters the battlefield unattached and stays on the battlefield if the creature this card is attached to leaves the battlefield.)

The Ultimate Warriors (Updated)

I love Mardu! My favorite deck plays a lot like this one.
Below are some of my recommendations, but I would mostly recommend you check out the CommandZone on Youtube - they have a deckbuilding guide that is very good. Also, for some ideas on cards, you can check out EDHREC, which is a database for deckbuilding.
Anywho, here are some of my recommendations:
== ADD ==
Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege double all your attack triggers.
Alesha, Who Smiles at Death and Terra, Herald of Hope
if you face a lot of removal.
Swords to Plowshares, Damn, Blasphemous Act, and Ruinous Ultimatum for removal.
Boros Charm
for protection.
Voice of Victory, Bone-Cairn Butcher, Infantry Shield, and Dalkovan Packbeasts for more Warrior tokens.
Hardened Tactician, Raiders' Spoils, Mindblade Render, Skullclamp, and Zurgo Stormrender for card draw.
Professional Face-Breaker for ramp and card advantage. Boros Signet, Orzhov Signet, Rakdos Signet, Talisman of Conviction, Talisman of Hierarchy, and Talisman of Indulgence for more ramp.
Shared Animosity, Fiery Emancipation, and City on Fire for buffs.
Reconnaissance to remove any creature your opponent blocks so it won't die, and Redoubled Stormsinger to double your tokens.
33 Lands is very low, especially since you have so little card draw and a high average cmc of 2.67. I recommend at least 38, if not 40 - you generally want to be playing a land every turn for the first 5 turns.
== CUT ==
Here are some cards I recommend cutting:
Aeronaut's Wings, Colossus Hammer, Greatsword of Tyr, Inquisitorial Rosette, Mardu Monument, Team Pennant, Amazing Alliance, Cartouche of Solidarity, Rally the Ranks, Shared Triumph, War Effort - Most of these provide modest buffs or require too much mana to use in one go. Most equipment are better in dedicated equipment builds, while Zurgo is generally more about going wide. If you do want to play equipment, I would recommend ones that provide utility (like Sword of the Animist, which you already have) or provide large buffs (like Blackblade Reforged). Cards that only buff your damage by 1 are generally underpowered.
Chromatic Lantern, Commander's Sphere - Your commander is 3-mana, so it is nice to have 2-mana ramp so you can still play your commander on curve.
Diabolic Tutor and Mastermind's Acquisition are a lot of mana for a tutor, and I would generally recommend cutting them.
Anywho, that's a lot, but let me know if any of it was helpful!

Deck Space marine

Here’s a few combos I’ve made.
Inquisitorial Rosette + Zephyrim Inquisitorial Rosette + Thunderhawk Gunship Defenders of Humanity + Exterminatus Belisarius Cawl + Talisman of Dominance
Inquisitorial Rosette might be your best friend. I like that you have Marneus Calgar . I would suggest Belisarius Cawl , Defenders of Humanity is good for when you need tokens in a pinch. Thunderhawk Gunship is nice. Ultramarines Honour Guard boost everything. Another card you could try to find is The Flesh is Weak since it buffs your guys and puts -1s on your opponent’s guys.
I’m not sure how Sol Ring Brainstorm or Dark Ritual are fitting into the theme. Space marines are the “good guys” (not really everybody’s a prick in 40k) and these spells are linked to the ruinous powers of chaos and xenos. Very anti-imperial. You could go full blown chaos with this deck alternatively. There’s plenty of chaos space marine cards including Abaddon the Despoiler , Lucius the Eternal , Tallyman of Nurgle , Dark Apostle , and more. Hallowed Fountain and Watery Grave are okay mechanically but I’m preferring to use the special lands from the 40K block. Take a look at Arcane Sanctum
Check out my deck if you like. I’ll leave the link below. I’m always looking at it and appreciate feedback so feel free to comment. Happy wizarding out ther.. er.. um.. I mean.. The Emperor Protects!

Hi there, happy to see another Isshin player. I've been playing Isshin since he debuted, but more so as a tokens go-wide deck. Regardless, I do have a few suggestions, based off your primer description and to try to fit your theme:
-
Conjurer's Mantle could be a decent fit to both your equipment and Samurai subthemes, and also works with Isshin's attack trigger.
-
Goblin War Drums or Rising of the Day could be potential replacements for Crash Through. War Drums will help give you some evasion for your attacker(s), and Rising can add a bit more speed to which you can attack.
-
Since you already have them in your Maybe Board, you could maybe replace Sword of the Animist with another mana rock like Talisman of Hierarchy, Talisman of Conviction, Talisman of Indulgence, or Fellwar Stone. I played Sword of the Animist quite a bit, but it felt slow for what it can do with Isshin, since you have to pay 4 total mana to cast and equip it, then attack. It requires more set up than a straight up mana rock, if you're looking for more early game velocity.
-
Similarly, I think you could probably replace Commander's Sphere and/or Boros Locket with some of the mana rocks I mentioned in my bullet above. The activation cost on Boros Locket is kinda color-intensive for a 3 color deck, and at that point is essentially 7 total mana to draw 3 cards.
-
I'd recommend checking out Soul Partition as a potential replacement to Dispatch. Soul Partition can hit a variety of targets, and also double as protection for one of your creatures.
-
I think Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher or Sun Titan could be potential swaps for the Rakshasa, mostly because they open up your options for Recursion, and both work with Isshin.
-
It's a newer card and pricier card, but Roaming Throne could be an option to get even more triggers out of Isshin and your other Samurai.
-
Captain's Claws, Inquisitorial Rosette, Anduril, Flame of the West, and Anduril, Narsil Reforged are all excellent equipment options for Isshin.
-
Although they are a bit group-huggy in certain regards, Breena, the Demagogue and Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant are both pretty fun draw options for Isshin. Karazikar would also be helpful to turn some attention away from you, and Breena can help grow your board.
-
Lastly, Dolmen Gate and Reconnaissance are both awesome board protection effects, especially for a deck ore reliant on single attackers. Reconnaissance can protect your attacking board from unfavorable blocks, and act as a pseudo-vigilance anthem. This EDHREC article dives into a bit more detail into how the timing works for removing your creatures from combat. Reconnaissance is also discussed in a recent episode of EDHRECast.
I hope these suggestions are helpful. I'm down to discuss more suggestions if you're up to it. Best of luck with your deck and its future games.

Thank you for checking out my Isshin deck, I appreciate it. In taking a look at yours, I have a few ideas for some potential additions:
-
Cathedral of War could be a decent utility land to add, especially to tie in with your other Exalted effects.
-
Vault of the Archangel can be used offensively or defensively as needed.
-
Reconnaissance and Dolmen Gate are both helpful protection effects, and I think would be that much more important in an Exalted/single attacker leaning strat. In case you aren't familiar with the timing on Reconnaissance, this EDHREC article can help explain it a bit better. Basically, your creatures are considered attackers until the end of combat, so you can utilize Reconnaissance to untap and save your attackers at any point during combat, even after they've dealt combat damage.
-
Clever Concealment could be a banger for board protection since most of your creatures will stay untapped.
-
Although they aren't Samurai, Tiamat's Fanatics and/or Warchief Giant could fit in with your creatures that also care about solo attacking Warriors. These would still work with Exalted since the Myriad tokens are never declared as attackers.
-
Along kind of similar lines, Inquisitorial Rosette can be helpful to get some additional token attackers, and an equipment that provides an evasion anthem.
Hope these suggestions are helpful. Hopefully we won't have to wait for another return to Kamigawa to get more Samurai

Isshin Aristocrats

Some more go-wide damage effects could serve you well with this gameplan and I have a few suggestions outside of that too.
Purphoros, God of the Forge/Impact Tremors would be mean, but effective.
Blood for the Blood God! is go-wide damage and card draw.
Vault of the Archangel and the threat of potential activation alone will get attack triggers through.
Luminous Broodmoth let's you double up on some death triggers, makes your deck more resilient, and addresses the deck's lack of flyers.
Inquisitorial Rosette is a token producer + evasion for your attackers.
Devilish Valet will one-shot someone out of the game. I've hit for over 1 million (been hit for 8 million). Just 6 tokens in a turn is 64 power and it snowballs fast from there.
Mishra, Claimed by Gix Meld/Commissar Severina Raine are amazing in Isshin. I see they're in your maybeboard, but they're especially worth adding with the aristocrats subtheme.

Crow_Umbra Thank you for your input! do like Frodo, Determined Hero instead of Naomi, Pillar of Order and then I was already thinking about getting rid of Sunforger so I threw in Inquisitorial Rosette. Also great catch with those two copies of Crackling Doom, replaced it with Generous Gift. Lastly I took out my single fetch land for Conjurer's Mantle.
Really apperciate the input and suggestions!!

I forgot to add earlier, but 3 equipment that could work well in your deck are Captain's Claws, Inquisitorial Rosette, & Anduril, Flame of the West. All 3 are similar in that they make tokens when you attack, but have some slight variations. They could potentially replace Sword of Hearth and Home (mostly because you don't run a lot of Enter The Battlefield effects), and/or Sunforger (aren't running many instants, plus a lot of hoops to jump thru to get one of your instants).
On the topic of Instants, it looks like you have 2 copies of Crackling Doom. I'd recommend replacing a copy with Generous Gift or Wear / Tear for some instant speed utility removal. The Elephant token from Generous Gift is pretty inconsequential in most games.
