This is a budget edh deck I made. I want to play stax, but I'm on a low budget. This is currently a super-first-draft, I just vomited a bunch of cards on here and lots of work needs to be done.

Really, the deck didn't get that much more expensive for me, because I was able to find cheaper, foreign versions of Trinisphere , Thorn of Amethyst , and Rings of Brighthearth. The real price saver, is I found out that my playgroup was fine with gold bordered cards! I don't plan to do any dci sanctioned edh tournaments, and I plan on playing stax in Canadian highlander so i figured having the cards in gold boarder is fine. The gold-bordered cards are as follows: Strip Mine, Metalworker, Wasteland, Rishadan Port, Ancient Tomb, Grim Monolith, and City of Traitors. This deck shot up in power and effectiveness, with effectively only a 40 dollar price increase, which still lands within my personal budget.
