Grenzo is perfectly suited for the aggressive players in EDH because he essentially allows you to do what Edric, Spymaster of Trest does and draw cards off of your creatures dealing combat damage. Interestingly though, these cards are stolen from your opponents decks so you are going to have a deck that plays very differently each time.

Deck Strategy Show

The idea behind the deck is pretty simple:

1. Play aggressive, low-cost creatures.
2. Make sure they can get through.
3. Play some protection to keep Grenzo alive and give your dudes haste.
4. Play mana ramp to be able to play the maximum number of opponents cards per turn.

The great thing about Grenzo is that he can make some ordinary pretty lackluster cards good. Raging Goblin-esque creatures really aren't that bad when he's out because if the deck goes as planned they have a good chance of basically cantripping at least once.

I would recommend this list for those trying to get into EDH, aggressive players that might not like the format as much, players that have a diverse metagame in terms of power level, people that like some amount of randomness, and Red players that are tired of everyone else always having all the broken cards. The list is pretty open-ended as well if you'd like to change it (to make it more goblin tribal for example).

Goblin Balloon Brigade is in here mostly for my chuckles. Don't judge me. It's good I swear.
