With commander 2015 new commanders arrived, I fell in love with Meren and Mazirek, I was about to build around Meren when I noticed that almost everyone was.I decided to build a mazirek instead, in order to have a different golgari EDH.

The deck is simple, put many tokens, cast mazirek, sacrifice constantly to get +1/+1 counters on your creatures (especially mazirek). The 21 points are easy to deal, but are not the only way to win.

Let's see what we have here:

Control:Control is the strongest asset of the deck, there are many great spells who work even better with the insect lord, such as Barter in Blood, Grave Pact or the magnificent Liliana of the Veil, Savra, Queen of the Golgari becomes fat with mazirek, being able to force-feed all creatures with +1/+1 counters while clening the foes' board.Smallpox, my favourite black card ever is also huge with mazirek.

We also need +1/+1 counters in this deck, in order to get them faster we have some great tools, Doubling Season, Corpsejack Menace, Blade of the Bloodchief and Hardened scale

Then tokens are usefull to always have something to sacrifice, Bitterblossom, may be the best token card ever but Mycoloth and Ghoulcaller Gisa can become a huge threat by sacrificing and popping an awful lot of tokens.

When we have tokens or creatures that benefit from dying, we need something to sacrifice them. Viscera Seer is the simplest and best option of the deck, fast, cheap and a free ability, he's also the easiest sacrifice inducer to reanimate with meren. Evolutionary Leap is a great CA inducer with tokens.

Tutors are very important too, Evolutionary leap is kind of a tutor but its randomness makes it a semi-tutor.Sidisi, Undead Vizier, aaaah sweet little sidisi, she is, to me, the greatest rare card in dragons of tarkir and in this deck has absolutely no flaw, a great body, deathtouch, sacrifice when coming into play and tutoring in the same time, this is probably the most important card of the deck and must be searched asap in the game.I won't even talk about Birthing Pod's huge potential, it is actually the best way to get sidisi in play.

Then we need to draw, Smothering Abomination, Phyrexian Arena, Underworld Connections, Disciple of Bolas and Harvester of Souls will help to draw a fair amount of cards.

Then we have the most versatile card of the deck, Desecration Demon can do anything the deck needs, it hits really hard, cost only four mana, make the opponent sacrifice by getting +1/+1 counter(s) I love how this thing can become a threat that makes opponents have to choose who will sacrifice because they don't want it to hit them.

At last, the two most useful cards in the deck, both boots are needed in order to have a small hope of having mazirek stay a bit on the board.

This description is not full but I did my best. Sorry for my english, it's not my mother tongue.
