ETB Triggers

In this deck, we have two different types of ETB triggers: Creature and Enchantment. There’s also a little Panharmonicon thrown in there, which just makes all of these effects even better!

Creatures

Your greatest friends will be: Akoum Hellkite Scourge of Valkas it’s Dragon Tempest but on a creature! Spawn of Thraxes Thunder Dragon and Thundermaw Hellkite can be fairly effective boardwipes, especially if they are hitting either double damage or multiple times.

Enchantments

Using Dragon Tempest, Warstorm Surge, Where Ancients Tread or Sarkhan's Unsealing, you’ll be hitting many different damage triggers upon a dragon entering, and then again right after from the dragon token entering the field.

Getting Yourself Out of a Situation

"No one will take my dragons." Shut down the field of all those tricky lands with Blood Moon. Fling your friends at your enemies. Are you gonna die? Take your enemy down with you in a Last-Ditch Effort.

Notable Combinations

Archwing Dragon + any ETB damage effect----- It bounces itself, meaning more tokens, and more ETB damage procs! Using Cryptic Gateway and having Lathliss on the field, pay to put one dragon on the field, then you can pour your dragons onto the field for free, as you will always have two untapped dragons from the token creation. Mana Echoes and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (or Mana Geyser or Battle Hymn allows you to basically put whatever you’d like onto the field, creatures or not.
