Boros Commander 2015 Reinvented

Commander / EDH

This deck was the dud deck, the deck that nobody wanted, sitting there collecting dust. So I made a challenge to myself. Could I get this deck to work, to make Kalemne a viable commander?

What you see here are the results.

There has been a lot of tinkering, I think this was a given, considering how dire the pre-made deck was!

But what we have is the strong fundamentals of a deck that has the ability to win on turn 6 or 7 (I know! I'm as shocked as you are!) If you can trigger Kalemne twice, all of a sudden, your opponent is on a 2/3 turn clock.

Land-heavy opening hands are better because it's important you don't miss a land drop unless you have the artifact ramp to help the lack of lands.

But overall, with various testing, this deck has turned out to be a very powerful deck that can seemingly win out of nowhere. I have, however, found it very linear. Which doesn't always give it great replay-ability value. Like every red deck, it does suffer from draw power, but it's not always the biggest downside as you cannot cast too much anyway.
