The deck plays around abusing creatures with:

1. Enter the battlefield triggers (Merciless Executioner, Fleshbag Marauder, Sepulchral Primordial, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Iname, Death Aspect , Slum Reaper , Sidisi, Undead Vizier, Puppeteer Clique, Duplicant, Corpse Connoisseur , Big Game Hunter, Solemn Simulacrum , Phyrexian Delver , and Rune-Scarred Demon)

2. Death Triggers (Kokusho, the Evening Star)

3. Or are easily recurrable (Bloodghast, Nether Traitor, Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodsoaked Champion )

and then feeding these guys to the numerous sac outlets in the deck for card advantage (Mind Slash, Scullclamp, Attrition, Disciple of Bolas, Helm of Possession, Sadistic Hypnotist), reanimating them for card advantage ( Dawn of the Dead , Sheoldred, Whispering One, Animate Dead, Nim Deathmantle, Chainer, Dementia Master ), all the while getting more value off of Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos.

Also, Mimic Vat is one of the best cards in the deck, no joke.
