Instead of Talisman of Unity, you'd probably be better off with a Selesnya Signet or even something like a Rampant Growth or Cultivate type spell.

There are some humans like Yavimaya Elder that can get you lands too, but most of them don't put them on the battlefield. Knight of the White Orchid does, but then you're restricted to just grabbing a plains. Primal Druid does too, but only when they die.

I love your deck. I have a humans deck, too, and run many of the same cards, but I use Sigarda, Heron's Grace as my general.

I love this Ape tribal deck!

My only criticism is that you don't have enough human fodder for Kogla, the Titan Ape since he's one of your main forms of removal in your deck. You've only got Eternal Witness.

I was thinking maybe you could replace your Llanowar Tribe with Karametra's Acolyte or Citanul Hierophants ? Not only do they offer the potential for much more green mana per tap than the Tribe, they also are humans for Kogla to toss back.

Elfhame Druid could be replaced with Somberwald Sage which would actually net you 1 more mana for casting Kogla and 2 more mana all the time for other creatures.

You could also replace Sakura-Tribe Elder with Diligent Farmhand . While not as good as a one-off as the Elder it does fill the same chump block and sac for a land niche, it counts as an extra pump for the jank pump spell Muscle Burst which is mega flavor, and is a human for Kogla to toss. There's also Krosan Wayfarer which has the downside of only getting a land from hand rather than tutor or Primal Druid which has to die from the combat but at least lets you tutor.

I know you are probably using Llanowar Elves for an early play and ramp, but if you didn't need that extra (G) per tap you could replace it with Drumhunter which gives you needed card draw, a colorless mana per tap, and is a human for Kogla to toss. Some less good options but still ok since they're lower CMC than Drumhunter is Werebear , Honored Hierarch , Harvester Druid , Sylvok Explorer , or Humble Naturalist .

If you need a ramp creature to combo off with look no further than Hope Tender , Juniper Order Druid , Ley Druid , or Krosan Restorer to untap a land that produces big mana or Hidden Herbalists which would actually combo off of Kogla's tossback if you have something that could benefit from ETB's.

There's also Setessan Petitioner which would allow you repeated lifegain on ETB if you needed it.

Thanks for the suggestions lonesentinel and Podkomorka.
To make room for Ambuscade, Band Together, Lignify, Ram Through (which is strictly better than Pounce), and Unnatural Aggression, I decided to drop the Primal Druid as suggested, as well as the Viridian Emissary (which does basically the same thing).
Not feeling comfortable going down to 35 lands, I opted to only drop Khalni Garden, and both Forge of Heroes and Opal Palace (as I rarely need to recast my commander).

The landbase seems a little too simple for a 3-colour-deck. May I suggest du add at least Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse ? They aren't expensive and help a lot. Primal Druid and Wild-Field Scarecrow are fitting ramp/fixing options, and Scaretiller might be worth a look, as well.

You should play copies of each High Alert , Assault Formation and Belligerent Brontodon as backups for your commander. Wakestone Gargoyle might be very useful as well.

Two more interesting options are Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive and Mistford River Turtle to make your walls unblockable. Oh, and a way to give your creatures vigilance seems importan as well ( Always Watching is fine for that). Three more nifty cards for toughness-decks are Bident of Thassa , Angler Turtle and Profaner of the Dead .

Keep up the work, you definitely are on a good way.

You can make room by taking the above tips and removing lands down to 35 as well as removing a random card that doesnt really fit the deck like Primal Druid and that should make room.

I’ve been having a long hard think about this deck list, I was considering a Ghave deck for my last deck but I opted for something else instead. This is my two cents..

This deck seems very heavily creature based, more than a third of it is creatures, so turn them into your ramp. Cards like; Cryptolith Rite or Citanul Hierophants will be far better for you than Farhaven Elf . Keep the creatures that you can sac to fetch lands because then they will trigger your death triggers, which gives you much more value . Other creatures that do this are Primal Druid

Viridian Emissary

Burnished Hart

Dawntreader Elk

Perilous Forays this one would be really good as it turns all of your tokens into Sakura-Tribe Elder.

Since you’re playing around with counters I’d run Gyre Sage for some bigger ramp. You could take out the Llanowar Elves

I really like all the infinite sac combos but I think you’re running too many blood artist triggers. You could easily only run him and maybe one other with a similar effect. Some other cool effects you could run to replace some of those triggers could be Catacomb Sifter
