Oh! I liked the Phyrexian Arena idea! Instead of Rancor, Groundswell and Vines of Vastwood I would use Strength of Lunacy, Narcissism, Muscle Burst and Sylvan Might. Instead of Abrupt Decay or Maelstrom Pulse I would put Dark Withering. I'm doing a similar deck Threshold of Madness , maybe you can take a look to help me and take some ideias.

NV_1980, the Muscle Burst effect is irrelevant, as Kamerot says. But I'm hesitant to take the Diligent Farmhand out specifically because he's one of my only turn 1 plays. However, looking back at my ramp cards, I'm going to try taking out Shefet Monitor - it's ok, but 4 mana is a bit high for ramp.
And yeah, Loxodon Gatekeeper is a good call - it's a new card I added hoping that making lands enter tapped would slow everyone down (slowing enemies down seems to be more effective than speeding myself up in this deck), but 4 mana is a bit slower than I would like to get that effect. Thanks for the suggestion!

It looks like Odyssy would have been fun to draft, with Magic's first real graveyard-matters cards (e.g., Crashing Centaur, Werebear, Overeager Apprentice, and Crypt Creeper), some interesting Instants (e.g., Shelter, Afflict, Rites of Refusal, and Muscle Burst), and some curious manafixing (Bog Wreckage). Out first pick was pretty easy though:
