I also don't really understand Fog or Spore Frog but I know you like politics so maybe they'll be fun in order to get favours from people. Loads of card draw which is nice but again I can see you running out of creatures to sac for Village Rites and Deadly Dispute type cards. You generally need to draw cards while behind and while behind you might be suffering from graveyard hate agaist your skeletons or other effects - just something to consider. Also Damnation might be something to consider switching for a different boardwioe if you are gonna put some regenerate creatures in (Toxic Deluge turns off regenerate aswell - but it's such a good card it's probably worth it)
In terms of cuts to make to make space for more dummies, Shadow in the Warp doesn't really fit much in the deck - you have so many cheap creatures that you'll probably be casting more than one a turn and it will rarely help that much - and the 2 damage is pretty insignificant compared to your other effects. I would favour Llanowar Elves type cards over Fertile Ground as again, creatures are what you want and they give you the oppurtunity to sac them if you need.
Some good cards to consider:
Victimize - brings back your Sakura-Tribe Elder type cards and is a sac outlet at the same time
Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger - just great value aswell as triggering Bhaal. A good reanimator target aswell.
Recurring Nightmares - Reanimator + sac outlet + it doesn't die? This card's great.
Dread Wanderer? Not the best but helps you out in a pinch if you have a Village Rites and nothing else
Nether Traitor - I don't know why this isn't in there already

Hey man, Looks cool. A couple cards I'm not a huge fan of here, like Smothering Abomination and Greater Good. Abomination is slow and because you're not running a token deck you will often have to sac creatures you dont want to as it's not a may sac. Greater good I'm not really understanding as you have very few creatures with greater than 3 power - it will rarely actually net you cards. A more general criticism is the number of creatures. You have 26/100 creatures and only 4 that come back when you kill them. Maybe consider more regenerate creatures like Mortivore or something like Bloodghast that will come back without you needing mana open. Also you're such a creature focused deck and I can see you running out quickly (part of the reason I don't like Smothering Abomination).

With Marwyn as your commander, you'll want to be careful with shroud (looking at Eladamri, Lord of Leaves). Shroud affects both you and your opponents. Therefore, Marwyn can't become the target of "Untap target creature" when Eladamri is out on the field. Personally, I like Asceticism for protection.

I'd swap Graceful Adept for Library of Leng. Cheaper, harder to remove, and added bonus against discard.
Cancel for any other counterspell. There are plenty of 1UU with upside such as personal favorite of mine, Admiral's Order. Rewind, Dissipate, Unwind and Negate are also solid budget options. Personally not a fan of Mana Leak-esk counters since if an opponent has a ton of Mana, they become useless. Also, Defense Grid is an odd choice for a blue deck since it hurts your own counters on your opponents turn.
I'd consider trying to find room for a card or cards like Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and The Indomitable.
Single protection to consider, Mithril Coat is amazing, Commander's Plate always pulls a ton of weight in mon color (may hurt commander's unblockable agaimst another monoblue but otherwise really helps), Dive Down not amazing, just a pet card when it was in standard.

I too love Tsabo. I think the high CMC scares people away but there is no denying that this is a powerful card well before the power creep.

Crystal Chimes Urza was the "enchantment block" after all haha! Good eye. Definitely useful.
I would statistically get better mileage out of both Jet and Ruby and I will be updating the deck to be more efficient based off your observation. That said... Heartless Summoning is a pet card of mine. I love that permaSol Ring. It turns 3 drops into 1 drop weenies and it turns 4 drops into hate bears! Tsabo 6/3 @ feels good.

Thank you Profet93 for the suggestions! I really like shamanic revelation, alhammarrett's archive, and greater good and greater good, i'll try to find spots for some of those in the deck.
I hadn't really planned on putting in any token doublers to focus on the lifegain, but it's probably worth including one at least. I think I have a Parallel Lives laying around somewhere.
I also had not considered Emergence Zone, but I'll try to find a spot for that.

As Imodane appears to be mono-Red, I don't think you can run Boros Reckoner or Spitemare, unless of course people agree to allow Hybrid cards as either/or rather than both.
Another thing I thought about while looking at this list, do you have enough damage spells? I could be wrong, but I think your payoff to trigger ratio could be better with a few less payoffs and a few more triggering spells, drawing only copy effects and payoffs could make for an unpleasant game.

I like the direction you have with The Millennium Calendar, which is why I mostly wanted to recommend stuff that also had Proliferate stapled onto it. The last time I played Simic +1/+1 counters was a few years ago with Eutropia the Twice-Favored at the helm of an Enchantress/Counters deck.
You and I have similar approaches, in that I also focus on what I have in binders for initial drafts before making dedicated (and pricey) upgrades. It feels good to flip through binders and mostly find what you need lol.
All that being said, looking forward to keeping tabs on your deck's development.

Crow_Umbra Yeah, that's always been a factor when building a Simic deck for me. Too many options kinda paralyzes my thoughts and deck building direction, which is why I decided to lean more towards The Millennium Calendar style shenanigans.
And thank you for the suggestions! I've got Ripples of Potential and Wave Goodbye from the Simic Ixalan precon, but I just haven't gotten around to opening it yet haha. I've never even heard of Ravenous Slime! It could be a contender for something like Scavenging Ooze. I'll look into that.
I thought about Mutational Advantage, but it feels very situational. I'd probably stick with Heroic Intervention for more of a catch-all defensive card.
Like I said, most of the deck was assembled with stuff I've had in my binders for a while. I'll work towards grabbing copies of those soon.

So I also run a Golgari Elfball deck, and it is great fun to pilot. Couple cards that are real good:
- Realmwalker - Gives you access to top card of your library, with such a large proportion of being Elves, can give you real card advantage.
- Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler - Gives you ability haste (redundancy for Thousand-Year Elixir) and a limited amount of grave interaction.
- Bolas's Citadel is bonkers in these low CMC decks. Is real fun lol
- Guardian Project - Will likely give you better value than Phyrexian Arena
- Overgrown Tomb - Feels like this land may just be a "will put it in the deck when I have one". Fetchable dual land
Real nice deck, and have upvoted. Good stuff. Be wary of the Shroud effects though from Eladamri, Lord of Leaves and Steely Resolve as you wont be able to equip your equipment (so Sword and mantle), or use The Ozolith, Thousand-Year Elixirs untap ability, or anything else you have that targets your own Elves. I am sure you are totally on top of it, but have made that mistake myself and been fully undone by it hahaha)

I kinda stopped reading when he said "math" on that cus LOL what the literal oof is that. Came back to it, yeah, non value comment.
It seems he's being simming that shit without reality of it ever or entering the actual playtest. The very real fact that this deck and the playstyle removes people from having playables on T3 causes FORFEITS, not technical victories. The simple fact that you don't catch that p much highlights you ain't got any playtime in reality against degenerative shit like this. You don't WANT to play against forfeit mill so you already half-quit on matchup.
Do the math on mind funeral t3 when players have milled themselves 4-5 lands already thanks to fetches, that's a sizable portion of the deck gone, especially after you stumble onto archive trap once or twice.
Then u just cherrypick playables, all he got left is this and that, not a coherent deck anymore.
Hating on Lazotep plating is just more of that nonsensical issuespushing fnr, "I hate it remove or ill cry and seethe".
Well, I hope you do man, just, like cope a lot. That's all I got on your "input" lol, you are just sguessworking math and sim from behind anonymity to reinforce YOUR view on the matter and that seems precis the kind of thing person who knows little would say to seem informed.

Right now I feel like the deck is tight.
I might recommend one or two low cmc warriors like Flameblade Adept, Goblin Cratermaker, Glory-Bound Initiate or Goblin Javelineer over some other creatures.
I might be biased as I playtested the deck up to be silly, only to end up with exuberant fuseling equipped with hammer t3 with resolute strike. Sure it may not be consistent, but that sure was fun.
I like this pet deck a lot.

DatShepTho Not a bad suggestion, its just with Dowsing Shaman I can keep bringing stuff back whereas Eternal Witness only does it when it play it. Shaman brings back only enchantments, but in reality, its only the enchantments we need to win with here. I dont think itd be the end of the deck to use witness instead of shaman though.

Hi tchau204, thank you for your suggestion. Martyr of Sands is just too important to give up on her: when in the starting hand, she really speeds up the deck and makes things easy, letting Righteous Valkyrie give +2/+2 to all the creatures and Speaker of Heavens spam Angels from the get-go. Ajani’s Pridemate, which I’d played for years in the past, is just a worse version of Voice of the Blessed. In the future, I may shift towards a completely Souls Sisters-based strategy, and then I would reconsider Ajani’s Pridemate and cut Martyr of Sands. I may as well get to a totally Martyr of Sands-based strategy, and I would even cut Voice of the Blessed in that scenario. Modern Horizons 3 could already be a nice crossroad. For now, the list features the cards that I feel to be more capable of making the difference, and Ajani’s Pridemate just isn’t among them

Do you feel you have enough ramp? Your commander costs 7, 2 colored mana + tap for activated ability. No haste to even use it. I actually love your commander, I just wonder how often you get to use him.

Why run gamble over an omni tutor, low cost?
Thaumatic Compass Flip - Could be too slow, but ensuring basics could be nice. The land transformation works with your defense theme.
No Mercy > Sunstone? - Or do you need the lack of damage?
How has heartless summoning been working for you? You only run 2 creatures, why not just run a Jet Medallion instead? Easier to cast, affects all black spells rather than just 2 cards. Is an artifact so it might be more susceptible to removal but the benefits far outweigh the costs IMO.
