Said on Knights...

You have a good amount of card draw inherently with your commander so you could probably do with dropping Icon of Ancestry for another good equipment. Phyrexian Crusader would offer another win con/canon fodder for a better knight. Also although it has a higher CMC, could consider Khorvath Brightflame to give those knights evasion to better swarm with. As far as equipments go, you've got great options. I've seen several knights decks running a Sunforger package that could easily be abused, as well asBloodforged Battle-Axe. Definitely a good deck to play around and tinker with! I've loved my Syr Gwyn deck so far.

A solid list and budget, it's very similar to what I run and have thoroughly enjoyed!

I can second the power of Sunforger. I don't have a lot in the Sunforger package with my personal deck but I do know it can get pretty crazy. I also can't recommend enough the use of Phyrexian Crusader and Puresteel Paladin. The Crusader either gives another win con or is a fodder target to protect your other knights while Puresteel offers redundancy for the free equip in case Gwyn is removed or isn't out yet. If budget allows, I also have really enjoyed Bloodforged Battle-Axe because those copies can multiply pretty dang fast.

This is pretty similar to mine! Big difference I see is your focus with the Sunforger package, which is really strong, whereas I went more focus on a variety of knights with the card draw. Only real recommendation I can make is adding in Phyrexian Crusader for another potential win-con or even as a distraction to draw in hate from your other more important knights.

#4 a LOT of foils.

So I've found Vanquisher's Banner doesn't do as well since you're typically gunning for Gishath to get your dinos rolling in and thus you're missing a lot of the card draw. Might consider trading it out for something to add to a potential win-con like Triumph of the Hordes.

I also highly recommend Shifting Ceratops, it's a fantastic little dino.

I would agree on the Primal Vigor and Doubling Season. Also for flavor and out of control counter generation, maybe work in Hydra's Growth.

I actually haven't had an issue where it's been all equip or all creature. Even if one or the other was coming out with my draw, because Gwyn has such a solid draw power, it always seemed to even out. I also found the deck was moving fast enough without a focus on the Sunforger package so wanted to try something different from what I've seen with other Gwyn decks but you are absolutely right, it is a powerhouse. I'll likely tinker the deck to utilize it more following further play.

Even with the ramp you're getting, still running fairly low number of lands. I would get that up to maybe around 35ish.

I would change out the Coldsteel Heart for Arcane Signet as well as find a way to work in that classic Sol Ring.

Explosive Vegetation can work but is often fairly expensive to cast for ramp unless really necessary but given your average CMC, I find Cultivate works just as well and costs less to cast, making it a little faster.

Maybe consider some more token generators like Luminarch Ascension and Entreat the Angels. Absolutely consider Angelic Accord with the life gain you're aiming to generate with your creatures.

While a good suggestion, I ended up originally deciding against Bludgeon Brawl because as the game plays out, I'm only averaging a couple mana rocks at most by the time the board state gets big enough to do something of value.

You have some good sac outlets. First thing I'd recommend is maybe using Gravecrawler since you have other zombies, gives you a cheap sac. I would also suggest getting in some mana rocks like the Talismans and Signets to help with that slightly higher average CMC.

That's an excellent point with the bounce lands, I'll try out dropping them and adding in more of the mana rocks. Sram, Senior Edificer I'm going to consider replacing Inspiring Veteran if I find the +1/+1 isn't as beneficial as I originally thought. As I play the deck more, I'll invest more into it for the bigger boys like Land Tax, Embercleave, and those sexy swords.

So I've played this deck a few times now with proxies just to make sure it's not too slow and I'm already loving it. It's ended up not slow at all with the mana rocks and rarely missing land drops, plus the other knights synch very well with the equipment even without the commander so it holds out fairly well until I get Syr Gwyn out, then it really takes off. It's certainly more casual than competitive but it's also not super janky that it can't get a solid win.

Tribals are always popular and seeing as how we have angels and dinosaurs and the like, we should add rats on there given the popularity of rat decks in formats like EDH.
