"WAUGHEEH! Ten THOUSAND YeaRRS will give you such a K'rrik in the neck!"

My take on K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth . He's very much a powerful commander in the fact he can provide you with discounts, damage and most of all life gain. By turning all of your black spells into spells that cost Phyrexian black, he immediately becomes valuable. At the earliest you could cast this guy turn 2 if you drop a Sol Ring turn one, but I'm sure there is a way to get immediate value starting turn 1. Anyways, let's get into the deck.

So, to get our deck online, we need to have plenty of ramp, this is seen in rituals Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual , but also in Blood Celebrant once we have our Commander out. Then rocks and the like of course.

We have a fair amount of tutors to fetch our wincons, just make sure that you get what is needed for the right situation. If someone has graveyard hate, don't go for a Mikaeus/Ballista loop, try something else.

As for combos, we have the basic Doomsday package. Cast Doomsday and assemble what you need. Most often we will go for Mikaeus, the Unhallowed , Walking Ballista , a sac outlet like Carrion Feeder or Viscera Seer , an unimportant spell and if possible Infernal Contract . So, we will put the contract on top then get the last four cards in the deck, then once we get out the pieces we win. Shoot everyone with the Ballista, sac it to the Seer or the Feeder, and it will come back with Mikaeus. Easy.

Now, we do have alternate win conditions if we can't get Doomsday going.

One of them is Aetherflux Reservoir , Bolas's Citadel and Sensei's Divining Top . Basically, have Citadel and Reservoir and continually cast the Top to gain infinite life(be sure to stop before you deck yourself) and then death star everyone.

Another thing we can do is win with combat damage, this is a last resort really. We want all of K'rrik's text to be important, so be sure to add +1/+1 counters anytime you cast a black spell. Not only can K'rrik do damage, but there is a cheap rare from Dominaria called Dread Shade . If we have an alright life total and Whip of Erebos in play, we can successfully deal damage and gain some life back by paying life into it's ability, we won't gain it all back, but we can do some major damage.

Dread Shade , as well as Blood Celebrant can also play an important role in lowering our life total... this is weird because life is very important to us, its a resource. Its also mana and the thing that keeps us in the game. So, if we get to a pretty low life total and we have Repay in Kind in hand, we can really even the playing field. Works very well with Blood Celebrant and Walking Ballista .

And finally, we come to Ad Nauseam . This is if we get to a point where we aren't getting any traction and need to get answers into hand. Whether that is mana, removal, or just a quick win, we leave it up to the fate of the deck at this point.

I feel like this deck will have some flashy, splashy plays, and is very interactive with other decks. But, being that this is a combo deck, we don't really want people to interact with us. We have the 2 counterspells in black here as well with Imp's Mischief and Withering Boon . Both very helpful in protecting us when we combo off.

Anyways, those are the main highlights for K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth . Suggestions are always welcome!
