This Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer EDH deck is a control-stax-combo pile of red cards and artifacts. The control and stax elements revolve around an axis of board wipes, mass land destruction, and built in resilience provided by the commander. The combo aspect centers on going infinite in a few ways. These methods involve Dross Scorpion, token creature production, sac outlets, Paradox Engine, and Splinter Twin combo yielding a mix of infinite untaps, sac effects, mana, tutors, and creatures. Throughout the building up process and going off, Slobad provides advantages when resolving board wipes and protects key artifacts involved in comboing. This strategy is driven by a mix of mana rocks, tutors, and card draw which is mostly provided in the form of artifacts. In addition to serving the purpose in their text boxes, each artifact is given additional value through the commander by rendering more powerful artifacts indestructible.
