First Phylath deck on Tappedout!

Phylath, World Sculptor is a master gardener. Their botanical knowledge is unparalleled, and the more land you give them to work with, the more amazing plants they'll grow on it!

The goal of this deck is simple, play as many lands per turn as you can to exploit landfall triggers. This is primarily achieved through a mixture of land fetch effects like Farseek and Cultivate, as well as extra land per turn effects like Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Burgeoning. Even up against land destruction, this deck as some staying power through the use of Crucible of Worlds, Oracle of Mul Daya, and Elixir of Immortality if things really get out of hand. This deck operates primarily off of strong synergies, and does not run infinite combos in its current form.

This deck runs decent artifact and enchantment removal, but relies a bit on brute force to handle creature threats.

Play Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, pass turn. Play Phylath, World Sculptor, get extra plant tokens from your forest creature. Plus any creatures you cast in addition to lands you play are generating landfall triggers.

Play Phylath, generate tokens, pass turn. Play Moraug, Fury of Akoum, move to first combat, second main phase play as many lands as possible. The landfall triggers should result in some buffed tokens and hopefully other supporting effects to our combat loops. Bury your table in combat damage.

Using extra lands per turn effects like Exploration, you can milk additional landfall triggers out of Gruul Turf. Burgeoning + Ghost Town can help you milk out several landfall triggers on your opponents turn.
