Commander: Karona, False God

This has become a very popular concept to joke about, but I wanted to actually give it a shot! Here are my results so far: The Pantheon.

The idea of Pantheon, of course, is to feature all of the gods. Someone noticed in a Reddit post that the gods of Theros are capable of turning each other into creatures, which struck me as weird and vaguely intriguing. There are quite a few fun things to do with this setup, although it's obvious how difficult it can be to balance all five colors.

What this particular deck tries to do is focus Esper and artifact cards until we can get our hands on some color fixing. Tutoring out a Darksteel Forge while your Mycosynth Lattice is out is pretty much a huge goal. Having active gods is a huge help, as who couldn't use an indestructible blocker with utility?

The race to activate the gods is accelerated with a few of the Shadowmoor block Spirit Avatars, like Ghastlord of Fugue , Divinity of Pride, and Dominus of Fealty. Each of these bad boys activates 7 gods on its own, on top of being insanely fun. Since they're all in our main colors, we usually don't have an issue casting them. Utilizing hybrid mana symbols like this proves to be a huge help in gaining devotion, as well as minimizing the need for color fixing.

The real trouble was getting utility out of all of the gods while also maintaining a good curve. This is naturally going to be a much slower deck (especially since it's budget beyond reason--for EDH, at least). I've managed to squeeze some work out of Karametra, God of Harvests by using some of the white and green shocklands; Iroas, God of Victory, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Mogis, God of Slaughter, Xenagos, God of Revels, and Keranos, God of Storms are always nice for some damage; and Thassa, God of the Sea and Erebos, God of the Dead help us dig for better stuff. There are only rare instances where I'd want to grab Nylea, God of the Hunt or Phenax, God of Deception, and I don't see Pharika, God of Affliction doing much work for me beyond graveyard hate. I'm personally quite happy where it's at, but if we ever vote some gods off the island, it's gonna be those three.

I'm also still searching for some viable 1- and 2-drops. I love him, but Eight-and-a-Half-Tails can't do any work for us with a Lattice on the field, and he's rarely a good play early on. Black Knight is pretty lame in this deck, as his value decreases rapidly as the game progresses. Also, I have no idea why Murderous Redcap is here. He'll probably get dropped for better non-permanents.

Suggestions are welcome. I haven't investigated the problems I've outlined because I should be studying, but if you want to fix my mistakes, be my guest!
