UNDER CONSTRUCTION

This is a token-focused, aggro Edgar Markov deck. The goal of the deck is cast vampires, lots of them -- enabling Edgar to generate tokens for us. Which then activate the various direct damage cards in our deck for when our creatures ETB. Then we turn those creatures sideways and attack, while being buffed by lords and other +1/+1 counter generators. We also have an immediate end to the game if your opponent doesn't have interaction -- Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Bloodthirsty Conqueror.

The most fun part of the deck -- the slugging your opponents with damage on ETB! These cards are a constant source of damage for your opponents. This is essential for keeping your opponents down, while you're setting up your board state for your vampires to charge in!

I will note, before I have anyone ask: I willfully choose to not utilize tutors. The tutors will obviously accelerate the speed of the deck, but I am choosing to scale down the power of the deck so that I don't combo-off too early. I like to savor the gameplay a little bit, so while this is a bracket 3 deck, I do not want it anywhere near a 4-5 with the tutors in it.

Updates Add

Updates to the Vamps — July 12, 2025

Time to update this thing. Added some MDFC cards to give me a little bit more land if necessary. Also changed up my board wipe protection, opting for Ghostway and Eerie Interlude to potentially proc the damage ETBs from the various Impact Tremorsfoil type effects in the deck. I also added Renewed Solidarity, as it basically doubles up my tokens each turn.
