I am a massive 40k fan, so when I saw Magnus the Red I knew I had to make a commander deck centered around him. This deck is actually ~$100 in real life the price spike is from the Volcanic Island & Rhystic StudyGC.

The basic premise of the deck is self explanatory: make token creatures to then cast massive spells, use counters stop people from stopping you. You can quickly become enemy number one at the board or not really do much. I tried to even out the digging with the x-cost spells so you should eventually get to some of the win conditions.

Win-Cons: Aetherflux Reservoir comes as no surprise, in conjuction with Birgi, God of Storytelling  , Runaway Steam-Kin, or Storm-Kiln Artist & the buy back spells Searing Touch, Haze of Rage, & Seething Anger can blast all our enemies for however much is required. Searing Touch by itself is a win con as we can blast everyone as many times as we want.

Storm King's Thunder with any X-cost spell is terrifying, just be careful with Blue Sun's Zenith, Occult Epiphany, & Mind Spring. I might have accidentally decked myself out one time.

If these dont work then you should have enough tokens to be a threat to someone and swing for lethal.
